Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort

The location of the hotel itself was right in the best place if you like the Ao nang beach and the RCA street. Everything is in a walkable distance, mcdonalds, 7-eleven, ao nang beach, and the bars. I was traveling with my 5yo and we were given a room right on the street, which made it impossible to sleep at night till 2am. Told the reception about it they said sorry we will give you free canopy , next day we tried to get the canopy on the pool, but no one gave it to us…. Apart from that, the rooftop infinity pool is very good at sunset, also the breakfast buffet was very good !

Wow, What can I say Hotel was lovely and clean, staff lovely and friendly couldn’t do enough for you. Food was exceptional, especially the variety of breakfast choices. Location was perfect, rite on the ***** and still could not hear and noise on a night. Will definitely be returning

Not recommended. Price way too high for the quality of the room, and they discriminate travelers by charging a much higher price than Thai citizen and residents. Some front desk at night shift is extremely disrespectful when I check-in, most likely due to under-staffing or lack of working experience in hospitality. The manager did help fixing the problem many times, thanks a lot for that. Some room is not well maintained, you see broken refrigerators and cracked mirror. I can understand the resort is hard to maintain due to its open construction style. The main selling point is the view, I think, but that was not the thing that is important for me. Avoid room adjacent to the street, because it is extremely noisy even after midnight.

The hotel is built on a hill, which makes getting around a little inconvenient. From the lobby to the breakfast area, you need to take three different lifts and still climb some stairs. The breakfast itself was not very good. The room had some pros and cons. It was nice that six complimentary glass bottles of water were provided, but the digital light switches lagged and were confusing—they sometimes only worked several seconds after pressing. The shower temperature was difficult to adjust, and the bathroom and shower area were separated in an awkward way. Our superior room balcony faced the road, so there wasn’t much of a view. The fridge barely kept things cool, and the room had bugs and mosquitoes—I got a few bites during the stay. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the main highlight is the pool area, which offers a beautiful sea view of Ao Nang. Essentially, what you are paying for here is the pool view rather than the overall hotel experience.

hotel is in a great location, however our room was out on the front above a maccys and 7/11! was really load at night! roof top swimming pool was good!

Exceptional hotel, and great value for money. It’s located in a prime area, but still had the peaceful ambience of a premium resort.
