The hotel is conveniently located between Gora Station and The Hakone Open-Air Museum Station, offering great accessibility. It had a high occupancy rate, with a roughly 50-50 split of Western and Asian guests. A major plus is that the front desk staff speak very good English. Room: We booked a standard twin room, though for some reason the beds were pushed together to make a large double bed. The space was quite generous, and both the soundproofing and cleanliness were good. Dining: Dinner was buffet-style, but included two main courses, which were quite tasty. The selection wasn't huge—about half Japanese and half Western dishes—catering to different tastes. Hot Springs (Onsen): If you have high standards for hot springs and are looking for a resort-style experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The public baths are rather small with no particular view. As for the private onsen, there are only two, and they were occupied every time we checked. In the evening, the public area by the campfire and foot bath was packed with Western guests socializing in various languages, creating a very lively atmosphere, but not a single Asian guest was in sight. It can get a bit noisy when crowded, but things instantly quieted down the next morning as the crowd thinned out near check-out time. Regarding the issue with stairs that many reviews mention: the hotel is divided into East and West wings, with a flight of 16 steps connecting them. If you have particularly heavy luggage, it's recommended to contact the hotel in advance to request a room in the East Wing.

Great hotel, located just a 5-minute walk from Gora Station. We requested a room close to the restaurant, and it turned out to be super close—just a 1-minute walk away. The hotel has two private hot spring baths that cannot be reserved; if they are unoccupied when you go, you can use them directly. The rest are mainly public baths, separated by gender. Yukatas are available for self-service, and the skin lotions and moisturizers provided in the hot spring area are all Sekkisui (Kose). The room features simple tatami bedding, but it was very comfortable, and I slept soundly until morning. The hotel's dinner and breakfast were amazing; I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The only downside is that there was no boiling water or electric kettle in the room. If you need water, you have to go to the second floor and fill a cup. This was quite inconvenient, as you have to run out to the second-floor public water dispenser if you want a drink in the middle of the night. I'd recommend bringing a thermos. The view outside the restaurant window is absolutely stunning.

The facilities are excellent. The hotel offers free private hot springs, complimentary drinks, and yukata rentals. The room is spacious and clean.

Awesome, absolutely fantastic! We thought the food was great, and the free-flowing drinks were a huge plus. We also easily managed to book the private onsen and enjoyed it 4 times. The massage chairs in the public area were excellent too. The room was very clean, and it offered great value for money.

The hotel pretty much remains the same as it was six years ago when I first stayed – very simple and straightforward. The staff are friendly and provide good service. On the second floor, there's a lobby where you can help yourself to drinks, alcohol, and snacks, which is very convenient. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet-style and very plentiful, making it a great option for those who aren't keen on Japanese food or have allergies. The location is convenient for sightseeing and transportation, being close to Gora Station and The Hakone Open-Air Museum. However, I don't quite understand why guests are made to park in the outdoor parking lot 150 meters away when there's a vacant indoor parking lot right at the hotel entrance. Also, our room was next to the housekeeping staff's workspace, and the noise from the pipes in the early morning was quite disruptive.

The room was conveniently located right by Gora Station, and there's an M-line bus stop directly in front of the hotel that goes straight to Gotemba Premium Outlets. The hotel also offers complimentary drinks and coffee, and from 7 PM to 10 PM, there's even free-flow beer. The kids really enjoyed it.

This was a fantastic hotel we stayed at during our trip. It's very close to the train station and only about 200-300 meters from the Hakone Open-Air Museum. The hotel facilities are excellent, and they even offer complimentary drinks and snacks. Dinner is a semi-buffet, and it's incredibly diverse and delicious.
