Junibino Hotel Hongdae

The hotel is quite new and trendy. The rooms got balcony which is quite nice if you are lucky enough to be located on the upper floors. However, you have to pay attention to the mosquitoes coz I got bites even when I have closed the net. There are too many mosquitoes in Seoul now. There is a restaurant downstairs but not too many people dine in. They got a cookie for you when you arrived as a welcome gift. The price is ok as compared to the ones in central Hongdae, but the location is not too convenient. Although it says 5-8 minutes walk from the metro station, the road leading towards the hotel is very quiet, if you are a solo traveller coming back at night, please be extra careful.

Location is great. Hotel is clean. Towels are grey so cant tell whether they are clean. They dont provide slippers you need to buy them from lobby. The ones you buy from lobby have very poor quality so you cant really wear them. Water leaks alot from the showers. Other than that its good.

The location is nice and around 5-min walk from metro station. The design of the room is stylish.

Hotel is aesthetically pleasing and centrally located with walking distance to Hapjeong station and also to Hongdae shopping street (further than Hapjeong station). The room is clean & big enough for us to open up 2 big luggages + 1 hand carry luggage. There were electrical malfunction in our room, and the staff were quick to assist. Although the issue was not resolved in the end, they responded promptly and made an effort to address it. Staffs were helpful and responsive , to help me arrange the courier shipment of an item I had left at my previous hotel in Jeju.. Being a foreigner, I was unable to order the courier service due to the requirement for a citizen ID. Although the item arrived after I had returned to my home country, they agreed to keep it until I could make further arrangements. A big thumbs up for their helpful and kind assistance.

Hotel was located conveniently to Hapjeong station about 5 mins walk. Hotel toilet was leaking each time we shower. Towels smell very bad and had a weird musky that stinked. Hallways were dark and not well-lit. Not recommended, there are better hotels in the area.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay😊

The location is great if you prefer staying somewhere a little quieter and away from the busy, crowded areas of Hongdae. Although it is not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, it is still conveniently located near train and bus stations, making it easy to get around and explore Seoul. The hotel offers a comfortable stay and is a good option for travellers who appreciate convenience without being surrounded by too much noise and activity. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter yet accessible location in Hongdae!
