The Capitol Hotel

Overall, I had an okay stay. The location is definitely the biggest advantage. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, Union Station is next door, and the State Capitol and the park are directly across the street. The view from the room was nice, and it was very convenient for getting around the city. However, the hotel itself feels quite old. The key card barely worked, and it took several attempts every time to open the room door, which was frustrating and time-consuming. My room faced the main road, so it was quite noisy because of the traffic. The soundproofing was also poor—I could clearly hear people walking around in the room above me. In addition, the hot water never got very hot. I’m not sure if there was an issue with the faucet or the water heater, but the shower was only lukewarm. Overall, the location is excellent, but the facilities and room conditions could definitely use some improvement.

Price hotel too expensive for what they are offering. Maintenance of the room to a minimal. The tub and sink was not draining

Great location across from the Capitol Building. However, room itself was just alright. The bedding was lacking, especially the very thin comforter. The cleanliness inside the building was also just ok. The parking garage should be renovated.

Well positioned near transport routes but hotel was very average
