TTR Moonstone Apart Hotel

This hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were also kind and polite. However, I had some trouble during passport verification. Even though I explained that Japanese citizens can stay in Vietnam for 45 days without a visa, they didn't seem to understand and repeatedly asked to see my visa. Eventually, I used ChatGPT to translate information about Japanese nationality and visa requirements into Vietnamese, and after showing them that, I was allowed to proceed to my room. The location is great, just a little over a 10-minute walk from the night market. It's at the end of a forest after a gentle slope, so it's a quiet spot away from the city's hustle and bustle. However, the street is lined with hotels and stays well-lit at night, so I didn't feel unsafe walking back from the night market. There are also restaurants nearby that are open late. The bathroom and toilet were clean, and while the shower pressure was a bit weak, there was plenty of hot water. It was perfectly fine for a normal shower. Towels, shampoo, body soap, and a hairdryer were provided, so I didn't need to bring anything. I recommend this hotel for those who prefer a quiet location and enjoy morning walks while breathing in the fresh forest air.

The facilities are very old. The sheets and pillows were moldy, and there was a drainage issue in the bathroom, causing water to pool. The hairdryer was unusable, and the bath towels were old. I recommend increasing your budget and choosing another room or a different hotel.

The rooms are clean and the staff are enthusiastic and helpful. It's not too noisy and is close to the night market and Xuan Huong Lake. There are also many food stalls and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

I booked the best room, but on the 3rd floor, it didn't have a large window or balcony. There was a small window next to an armchair. The room itself was small, but comfortable for one adult and two children. The breakfasts were edible. The rooms themselves are in need of renovation.

Dirty room. There was so much dust in the corner between the wall and the entrance door that you could see it even in the dim light. It was humid, and there was a constant (though not strong) smell, reminiscent of an air freshener.

The room was damp and the floor was freezing. The two-bedroom apartment actually consisted of two adjoining rooms, each with a double bed. The refrigerator wasn't working, and it wasn't very clean. One of the rooms had direct access to the street, while the other had no windows.

The water pressure in the room would periodically cut out, making it inconvenient to shower sometimes. It was also chilly in the room at night. We asked for a heater, but the hotel said they didn't have any. We were freezing. The hairdryer in the room didn't work! That's a real problem for women, as you can't dry your hair. The rooms in the hotel are spacious. There's a train station not far from the hotel, so you can take a train to a nearby city. Beautiful trains and beautiful views.
