The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto was another great stay! It’s in a super convenient location—just one station away from Kyoto Station and close to all the main attractions, making it easy to get around. The room was surprisingly spacious, which is always a bonus in Japan. And one thing to note… the bathroom is completely transparent! 😂 Definitely something to keep in mind if you’re staying with friends 🤭

The location near to the Kyoto International Manga Museum was a real hit with our daughter and an amazing place. Just one block from the hotel. Then the location was perfect for a trip to the Imperial Palaces and amazing gardens. Access to the K subway was just 100m. The food was such quality and staff were always so helpful.

The hygiene was terrible. Not only were there black marks on the pillows, but the throw pillows also had many unidentifiable liquid stains. When I told the front desk, they only apologized, and then both staff members proceeded to badmouth me right there. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, absolutely awful.

The hotel location is excellent. Near to Nishiki market and subway. The service from staff excellent. The amenities like Iconic Lounge, public bath and breakfast was superb for us. We love the cakes served from Iconic Lounge and also the cocktails with alcohol. Will be back next time.
