Bell Tower Hotel

This is an old-established top hotel in Xi'an, much like the Zhejiang Hotel in Hangzhou. For over thirty years of living in Xi'an, I've always passed by it, never imagining I'd actually stay here one day. This time, returning to Xi'an, I decided to book a room here, and I highly recommend it. **Facilities:** The decor, typical of an older hotel, clearly showcases its past grandeur and unparalleled luxury. The fact that standard rooms come with a bathtub already gives it a high-end feel. Overall, it's a comfortable stay, making you feel right at home. **Hygiene:** The hygiene is good, it felt like staying in a luxurious hotel. The bedding is comfortable. The only minor flaw was some grime inside the bathtub stopper, which is probably in a hard-to-notice spot. Everything else was perfect. **Environment:** The location is absolutely prime. You step out directly to the Bell Tower. A left turn takes you to Hui Alley, a right turn to Fen Alley. The South Gate and Zhongda International are nearby, and just across the street is Kaiyuan Mall, one of the top shopping centers nationwide. Day and night, the entrance is bustling with live streamers, especially at night with people doing ancient costume photoshoots. **Service:** Overall, the service felt very well-trained. There were even small cards at the entrance guiding you, a nice touch in the details.

The hotel's location is great, and parking is convenient if you're driving, right in the bustling city center. However, there was a consistent noise from cars revving their engines on the street at night – it happened every night I stayed, and I'm not sure why. Overall, though, the hotel experience was still good.

I booked this hotel specifically for the parking, but honestly, there's nothing else worth commending. I didn't sleep a wink all night; my whole body felt itchy in bed. In the morning, I found red, itchy, and painful marks all over my arms. When I told the staff, they didn't react at all. I couldn't even be bothered to say more.

The location is absolutely unbeatable. Upon check-in, we were given two unique hotel-themed scrapbooks. The environment and cleanliness were better than expected, making it the perfect choice for experiencing history and culture in Xi'an. The decor had a 'old money' feel to it, which I really liked. I especially want to commend the ladies, numbers 13 and 15, who helped tidy our room – they did an amazing job, making everything very clean and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home after a day of educational activities with the kids. I'll definitely be recommending this place to any friends visiting Xi'an!

Excellent location, super close to the subway exit and right by the Bell Tower. Very convenient and lively.

The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to the subway and bus. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The room was quite clean, and the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning promptly during my 4-night stay. The only issue was the lack of throw pillows on the bed, only one regular pillow. I'm not sure if this is standard for a basic room.
