Extended Stay America Suites - Hartford - Farmington

The sheets were stained and the floors were very obviously uneven throughout the whole room. When I walked without shoes on and got into bed, my feet brought all the floor dirt to the bed. The hallway smelled burnt all the time, and the dedicated police parking spot out front gave me pause when we entered. Also, don’t try to ask for extra towels or shampoo. They have a policy… Overall, it’s fine for what it is: a quick stop to sleep, but nothing more than that. Breakfast is also only coffee and maybe granola bars, so don’t even expect a prepackaged muffin.

My first time staying , rooms were clean that was very nice kitchen. Everything was good. I had a problem they came and solved it right away. We’ll stay again next time I’m in Connecticut.

Unsafe neighborhood. Unattractive food on breakfast bar. Door’s safety latch broken. This hotel needs some inspection.

We were disappointed that the room was not as advertised. "Fully equipped kitchens" was a wildly incorrect description. Our kitchen cupboards and drawers were completely empty--not a dish, glass, or utensil in sight. Front desk coverage was spotty and it was difficult to summon help. The "hot breakfast" consisted of granola bars and a waffle maker with no space to use it. The room was clean, but pillows provided were exceedingly thin--about 1" thick, and there were only three on the bed. I had a stiff neck in the morning. We would not stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was iffy to connect at times. It was not password protected. The room kitchen was nice. Dishes, pots and pans on request at front desk. There was an elevator. Good parking. Easy on-off I-84. Coffee bar in am.

The grounds were nicely kept. The staff were polite and responsive. Check in was supposed to be at 3:00, we arrived at 3:30 and still had to wait for our room to be ready. We brought our dog with us. The pet friendly rooms were near the door and every time someone brought their dog out the door slammed shut, causing our door to shake. We discovered the floor was very dirty when we noticed the bottom of our feet were filthy from walking on it barefoot. We called and they did send staff to mop them. The pillows were very flat and hard but the linens were clean. Would I stay there again? No! For the price I paid I don’t feel the quality was there. We left early.

Propert was clean, our room had a few minor issues, furniture needed maintenance. Breakfast is a grab n go. Coffee and nutrigrain bar. No milk so mindful if you drink tea, coffee mate was only available. Check-in is very restricted to 3pm. With rooms having kitchens, lots of cooking smells filter through the hotel. Staff were helpful, and friendly. Would stay again.
