Meriton Suites Surfers Paradise

I booked the one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments simultaneously. It was really convenient for friends to gather in the living and dining room of the two-bedroom unit to eat and chat. The view from the one-bedroom unit was slightly less impressive than the two-bedroom one.

The Asian female receptionist was all smiles to white guests but arrogant towards us. We booked a sea view suite, but she insisted on giving us a coastal suite. After much debate, she moved us to a sea view suite on the lowest floor (6th floor) with broken facilities. When I told her the faucet was broken and asked for another room, she just said they could send someone to fix it. When checking out, her colleague heard about this and gave me the hotel's business card, suggesting I complain. I didn't book directly through their official website, but through Ctrip. Does booking through Ctrip mean we should be treated this way?

An amazing stay! Even though we arrived late and the hotel parking was full, there was a nearby parking lot available, just a 5-7 minute walk away. It had a simple kitchen where we could cook and also a washing machine. This was the only day on our trip we bought steak from the supermarket to pan-fry – it really saved a lot of money! 😁 In the morning, we just walked across the road and there was a beautiful beach and the sea. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay. It's an apartment hotel. The room was spacious, very close to the beach, and within walking distance to many places. Plenty of kitchenware 🍽️ was provided, so we could cook our own meals. A really great experience.

My stay at Meriton Suites Broadbeach on the Gold Coast far exceeded expectations. The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to the white sandy beach, and conveniently close to the light rail station and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, making getting around, dining, and shopping incredibly easy. My high-floor unit featured a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window balcony directly overlooking the magnificent coastline. I could watch the sunrise over the ocean in the morning and enjoy the sunset with a sea breeze in the evening – the views were expansive and incredibly relaxing. The apartment has a complete home layout, with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer combo, which was very convenient for buying seafood and cooking ourselves. The room was clean and dry, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The complex offers two swimming pools, a gym, and a sauna, all surrounded by lush tropical greenery, creating a peaceful and serene environment. The 24-hour front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, and the WiFi was stable and fast. This place is perfect for both couples on holiday and families on a short stay, making it an excellent choice for accommodation on the Gold Coast. I will definitely prioritize booking here again on my next visit.

The hotel offers great privacy; your room card only grants access to your specific floor. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the location is excellent, making dining and transportation very convenient. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, we could see the ocean, and we even spotted a rainbow 🌈, which was absolutely beautiful! One thing to remember, though: like many hotels in Australia, you're expected to take out your own trash here, so don't forget!

The room is very bright and clean, and the sea view from the room is really beautiful.
