The location of Jiuzhai Paradise is excellent. It occupies its own hillside, offering a very peaceful and quiet environment. The drive up to Jiuzhaigou from here offers stunning scenery along the way. The entire hotel feels like a small village, with a strong ethnic vibe.

This is my second visit, and it's still incredibly beautiful. Jiuzhai Valley truly is a magnificent paradise, worth visiting in all four seasons.

Choosing to stay at InterContinental while visiting Jiuzhaigou was such a wise decision. The hotel's setting is absolutely stunning, nestled within a mountain forest. Every corner of the property offers beautiful views. The rooms are very spacious and come with a small balcony, so you step right into the forest, and some rooms even offer views of snow-capped mountains. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and as an InterContinental member, I also received complimentary snacks. The restaurant offers ******* hotpot, stir-fries, and skewers; the mushroom soup was incredibly delicious. There's also a song and dance performance in the evening. The hot spring is definitely a highlight, with pools of varying temperatures – it was such a treat to soak in after exploring Jiuzhaigou. The hotel also has forest hiking trails where you can spot mushrooms and little squirrels. It's about a 30-minute drive to the scenic area, and there's a paid shuttle service available. The local ******* staff are incredibly warm and friendly, and they even provide oxygen concentrators.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and the service is impeccable. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing. The hygiene standards were very high, making for an outstanding stay. Our butler, Sindy, was professional and highly efficient. Overall, the quality here is top-notch. I'll definitely prioritize booking this hotel again on my next visit.

Our stay at InterContinental Jiuzhai Paradise was fantastic! The hotel boasts high-end facilities, and our room was clean, comfortable, and elegantly designed. The only minor hiccup was that we felt rushed during breakfast one day due to our schedule, but after giving feedback, the hotel promptly optimized and adjusted things. Their efficient and warm handling of the situation truly showcased their five-star quality. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself is quite large, with decent facilities and environment. It features a transparent glass dome, offering an unobstructed view of the sky. Inside the lobby, there are various plants and a restaurant with a folk style, which is quite unique! It's a 2-hour drive from Huanglong High-Speed Rail Station, so getting around isn't very convenient. The hotel butler arranged a private car for us, costing 300 for a round trip. We had a pleasant stay for the first three days, but on the last day, we were taken to a shopping center! I didn't expect that paying for a service would include a mandatory shopping stop! And the shopping center didn't look very legitimate, to be honest, which was quite disappointing! I'd rather have taken a taxi myself. Also, they kept pushing tickets for the 'Impression Ancient Love' show; the commercialization was a bit much. The hotel's service itself was very good. We encountered a minor issue that was promptly resolved, and we were even moved to another room! The information provided by the front desk wasn't very clear; for instance, we had to call separately to ask about restaurant opening times. There aren't many entertainment facilities in the hotel, and nothing for kids. At lunchtime, only one Chinese restaurant is open. In the afternoon, the hot springs and hot pot BBQ are available. During the off-season, only four hot spring pools are open. There's a performance with the hot pot, and the performers were great; we had a fun time dancing the Guozhuang together. A double meal costs around 400 RMB. It's not easy to go out from the hotel, so dining is slightly more expensive than outside. The breakfast was excellent! Lots of variety and very tasty! Getting to Jiuzhaigou is quite convenient, about 30 minutes. I highly recommend driving here yourself! Just be careful on the winding mountain roads!
