The Cityview - Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

Fantastic location, right next to Yau Ma Tei MTR station. The hotel has a modern design. While the rooms are small, that's typical for Hong Kong hotels. The service was excellent, and everyone from the concierge to the front desk and housekeeping staff was very friendly.

This was my first time traveling abroad, and I ended up staying in a really great hotel. They even upgraded my room! Don't let the booking page fool you, the actual environment is fantastic. The upgraded room was much nicer and more comfortable than the one I originally booked. The view from the window was also lovely, offering a glimpse of Victoria Harbour and some mountains. I especially loved the big lounge chair – it really made the value for money exceptional. I also saw many international guests staying there. The service was absolutely top-notch, no complaints at all. From the moment I walked in, everyone's attitude was super friendly and helpful. When I entered the room, the air conditioning was already on and it was wonderfully cool. My stay was absolutely fantastic, I'd give this a solid thumbs up!

The hotel room was small but incredibly clean, equipped with a fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, a kettle, and disposable slippers. They also require waste sorting, which is great. The location is fantastic, just a one-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station Exit A on Pitt Street, making getting around super convenient. It's also right by a bustling commercial street, a true shopper's paradise. While most Hong Kong hotels don't provide bottled water, this hotel has two high-quality water dispensers in the lobby, allowing guests to refill their own bottles for free. This guest-friendly amenity is really commendable. The only downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi. Additionally, when I was heading to the airport in the morning with my child and three suitcases, there were no taxis outside the lobby, and the staff didn't offer to help call one. I had to go out and find a taxi stand myself.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The room is quite spacious; it's the largest I've stayed in for this price range in Hong Kong.

Huge thanks to Cityview for the room upgrade! It gave my family of three plenty of space to move around and store our luggage. The location is also fantastic, right next to Jordan Road.
