Lofoten was our first stop on a multi-week trip around Norway. Lofoten Basecamp was perfectly located 10 minutes from the main town of Leknes, close to many excellent hikes and right near the main road to Reine to the south. Our cabin seemed very newly renovated. We liked having a small kitchen to keep and prepare basic food. Our balcony gave us beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The sauna was a lively treat on our last day (cost US$30 for an hour).

My harbor view suite seemed absolutely brand new, clean and in perfect condition. Compact and attractive and comfortable. Design award for kitchenette -- a lot of features in a compact space, even a dishwasher.

Spent 1 night here and can't complain..Easy and super fast checkin and straight into our hut. So yes the beds are a tad narrow but very comfortable. I agree that it was a little basic but its a base for exploring. There was a very busy carpark next to us for those I imagine trekking a nearby hike and those experiencing van life. Bathroom was huge and tv access meant you could watch Netflix if you wanted a cosy night after sightseeing. Happy with our stay - after all it was a base!!

Lofoten is such a different and special place, that we experienced was enhanced with our stay at Basecamp. We book a 3 bedroom cabin sea view. The cabin was nice, good distribution. Scandi simple decoration but cosy and confortable. Super clean. Perfect for family and Friends stay. Well equiped kitchen Nice terrace to enjoy the magnificente landscape and nature. Location is perfect, close to Leknes to ensure some basic services. I'd love to come back

Very small, simple, not to say minimalists cabans. Narrow beds. Access to the equally minimalistic (but still rather nice) sauna for extra payment. Surroundings of the cabanas muddy and unwelcoming. Clearly overpriced for what you get. (On the positive side, free parking, good wifi and fast checkin).

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in Superior Villa at the end of February. Hotel is named appropriately as "Basecamp", as the location is perfect to browse Lofoten Island. It is conveniently located just outside of Leknes. Only about 15 minutes from the Airport and easy to drive in to town for groceries, liquor, etc. Also, an easy 2 hour or so drive to town of A to South and about an hour North to Svolvaer. We rented an EV, so having a high speed charging station right in the hotel parking lot was great plus. The sea house was very clean and modern inside. It had a full kitchen equipped with stove, oven and dishwasher. Wash machine is available, but no dryer. However, it has a drying rack which dries the clothes quickly, perhaps, with warmth coming from the heated floor. TV was hardly used due to a gorgeous view outside, but we were able to access most of the streaming services. It was little too cold in February to fully utilize the outside deck. However, it came very handy when we watched the Northern Light show at night! Finally, I must mention that hospitality of the staffs are excellent. Rolf was so nice to come to us for a few chat, and we appreciate the complementary sauna slot. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We splurged on the 3 bedroom cabin and were not disappointed. This was our FAVORITE stay of the entire vacation! The rooms were fitted out with everything you could need. Clean and comfortable. But the absolute best part is the view off the back porch. We actually were lucky to catch a small pod of whales (nise) go by as we enjoyed our coffee. The staff were GREAT. Will go back.

We loved this place, perfect for us. It’s just off a busy road but no noice. Brand new I believe and well equipped. Very friendly staff. The sauna was great, you have to reserve ( and pay) but worth it. You can also fish there if you like. We did the trail to the top of Offershøykamm and it was great ( and great exercise), beautiful views on the top and definitely worth it. Leknes center is not far away so easy to get groceries and sort of “in the middle “ of Lofoten so excellent location. Definitely recommendable.
