JI Hotel (Shanghai People's Square)

The reception staff were all so friendly, polite and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day throughout our stay. The hotel is very close to Nanjing Road, with plenty of shopping and delicious food nearby. You can also enjoy a walk along Nanjing Road all the way to the Bund! Getting around is convenient, with a bus stop just a two-minute walk away and metro stations serving two to three lines about a 10-minute walk away. There’s also a barbecue restaurant right downstairs, perfect for anyone who enjoys a late-night supper! 👍🏻👍🏻 Overall, this hotel is a great choice for exploring the city, especially if it’s your first time visiting Shanghai.

I booked 2 different rooms for my stay. This booking was for a business queen, which hotel staff asks if I needed to upgrade to a bigger king bed (and pay extra). I didn't as i felt it wasn't worth the extra since we fitted the bed alright. The hotel is very well.located. there's a famous restaurant with excellant crab roe noodles, as well as a 7-eleven just next door. A korean bbq restaurant that opens late night just at the lift lobby as well. Staff were excellant in assisting with parcels. Nice bedroom slippers are provided. Overall an excellant stay

Lovely hotel that felt like your Muji theme hotel, and its super clean! Love the shower and super comfortable bed that I overslept by 3 hours during my trip to Disneyland. And most important, super love the professional and helpful staff! Kudos to front desk officer, 齐去远, for helping me out and stay calm when I dropped my passport on the Didi car. He provided me water to calm me down, and provided me Didi hotline so that I can contact the driver to retrieve back my passport. He even shared with me tips on how much I should reimbursed the driver for coming down!! Super greatful for his excellent service!!

Really enjoyed our time in Shanghai and staying with this hotel, very convenient to shopping and lots of food options around. Service from staff were great, quick and efficient.

The location is wonderful, few minutes to Nanjing walking street and 2 big department stores are near by the Ji hotel. We could enjoy Hey tea on daily basis. The staffs are super friendly. They offered help with food delivery caused my phone doesn't work with *******, my kid enjoy seeing robot deliver the food to our room. Overall for the room, it was nice as expected from photo via trip.com Minor points were that some guests are quite loud and the smelly from cigarette in the hallway.
