Nothing less than superlative service in this iconic institution of Singapore.
There are no rooms at the Raffles Hotel, only 115 tasteful and well-appointed suites, infused in elegance from a time gone by.
Highly recommended for a stay to rest and recharge, away from the cacophony that accompanies modern city-life.

To be fair, my room wasn't ready at 3:30 PM check-in, even though I had completed the pre-arrival procedure and paid the deposit in advance. Upon arrival, I was told the room wasn't ready, and I had to wait a long time to get checked in. What was the point of the pre-arrival process then?
Entering the room, there was a pervasive disinfectant smell, especially near the bathroom.
At night, the creaking floorboards from the room above were quite loud, though I understand this is often unavoidable in older buildings. The bathroom water pressure was just average.
On the positive side: The location is excellent, and the à la carte breakfast options were good quality, but the buffet selection was very limited.
The so-called 'butler' service seemed to consist of a single brief encounter – that was it.

What a truly delightful experience! From the moment I checked in, the staff's welcoming smile at the front desk made me feel instantly at home. I was even upgraded to the John Wayen Suite! My absolute favorite part of each day was enjoying breakfast by the fountain. This hotel, in many aspects, is perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer.

The hotel is fantastic, located right in Marina Bay, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. The rooms are spacious, the views are beautiful, and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel is also delicious. Breakfast is plentiful and can be ordered to your room. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Singapore.
