Garda Resort Village

The Garda Resort Village condominium is a very beautiful and pleasant place, especially the pool area. However, the resort appears to have electrical issues. It is not possible to use more than three electrical appliances at the same time, and on some nights the air conditioning would switch off by itself due to what the resort staff described as an overload of the electrical system. Considering that August is extremely hot in this region, this was very unpleasant. Furthermore, I believe Garda Resort Village should be transparent and inform guests about this issue before they make a reservation, rather than only notifying them when they arrive at the resort. I would also suggest being careful when renting an apartment and asking for photos of the specific unit that will be assigned to you. In our case, the apartment we were given was quite old and very basic. I am not sure whether all of the apartments are like this. The mini-market within the resort is very basic, and in some cases prices are three times higher than those in local supermarkets. It is definitely better to have a car if you plan to stay at the resort. Finally, I would like to comment on the sports facilities. Some of them require an additional fee to use, such as the padel courts and the gym, and in my opinion the prices are not low.

Great stay as always - we love the whole resort, pool, sports, the restaurant and super service by Claudia, Lisbeth and Monica. We will be back!

We loved the place. nice apartment with everything you need. Pool area was awesome and with all the activities (tennis, padel, football, table tennis) etc - always somehting to do. some places a bit worn down, but doesn't change the overall impressions we are definitely coming back!

The location on the lake shore very close to Sirmione is attractive but the village has really poor accommodation, small, crowded and lacking wifi. The pools are modest and the private beach not attractive or attended. Stay away of Garda village.
