La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa

The hotel was exceptional and absolutely wonderful. The architecture, plants, and landscaping perfectly complemented each other, creating an elegant and beautiful environment. Every turn revealed a completely different view, making the resort full of pleasant surprises. It is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The service staff during breakfast were incredibly friendly and attentive. We were rushing to catch our flight and barely had time to drink the iced coffee we had ordered. A service staff member quickly managed to get the coffee for me and, with a wonderful gesture, said I could take it back to the room and simply leave the cup there. This small favor made the end of our trip truly perfect. The only minor area for improvement was the insufficient lighting in the Kids Club. I believe this could be very easily improved upon. My suggestions would be: first, adding light fixtures above the ball pit area, and second, placing two desk lamps in the children's craft section. This would make the experience much more enjoyable for the children. Overall, the score is extremely high, and I highly recommend this resort!

I'm really glad I stayed at this hotel. It's a hotel I'd like to stay at again. Perhaps because it is a little far from the old town, time passes slowly. The staff greeted us with "Xin Chao" every time we passed each other, and we had a wonderful time.

Paid AUD 440 for two nights, but the stay was disappointing. The room condition did not match the price paid. Most concerning was the poor air quality in the room, which caused breathing discomfort and made it hard to stay comfortably. I decided to check out early and moved to another hotel in Da Nang. Staff later sent an apology email, but no practical resolution was offered. Would not stay again at this price level.

Beautiful neo-classical themed hotel with multiple swimming pools, great breakfast, and friendly staff. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff (esp Hoang), who wrote us a thoughtful message and took the effort to connect with us whenever we saw him. Our room was also beautiful and excellent, and we appreciated the small gift bags every day. Some room for improvement: (1) the shuttle buses into the city centre were too infrequent (only 3 services a day) and the times were not very ideal; (2) the neighbourhood next to the hotel is not very clean or quiet - you can hear someone singing loud karaoke across the road past 9pm and see garbage on every street (same for much of the city), and it's always a hazard trying to walk on the pedestrian roads since there is never any real space for pedestrians; (3) apart from a gym, a spa centre, swimming pools, and bikes, the resort doesn't offer very much else by way of facilities or activities; (4) there were difficulties communicating with some hotel staff members in English; (5) there were quite a bit of mosquitoes - we got bit while playing snooker outside the restaurant and also on our room balcony.
