Royal Beach Boutique Resort & Spa Koh Samui

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we will definitely be back for a third, maybe even a fourth time! Absolutely recommend it.

Upon check-in, instead of a welcome drink, we received ice cream! What an unexpected surprise, especially in the heat! We want to thank all the staff for their excellent hospitality towards their guests! A truly sincere, attentive, and wonderful team! Especially the lady at the reception (unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she was working on June 10th between 1 PM and 2 PM when we checked out). We left our bags and went to visit the viewpoint with the rocks. When we returned, she saw how exhausted we looked from the heat and immediately brought us water. A big thank you to the management for assembling such a fantastic team, and to the staff for all their hard work! Such genuine care is rare to find! The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. There are lots of flowers and greenery. The bungalows come with a veranda, complete with a table, chairs, and a hammock. In the evenings, a candle is lit on the table for each guest, creating a very cozy atmosphere! The room has everything you need: slippers, bathrobes, and a beach bag are all provided. The pool is open until 9 PM. In the evening, it's lit up and is quite deep (from 170 cm to a shallower section for kids). Breakfast is another huge bonus of this hotel. The presentation is beautiful, with unusual tableware in different shapes and colors. You choose your egg dishes by ticking boxes (boiled eggs, poached, omelets with various fillings, Eggs Benedict, etc.). I've attached photos. The breakfast atmosphere itself feels like a proper restaurant! As for the sea... The beach area is very well-maintained, everything is clean and swept. The sun loungers are new and comfortable, and the towels are long enough to cover almost the entire lounger. Low tide... Yes, that's a thing here. And there are rocks on the seabed. We knew this and brought coral shoes, so we could enter the water comfortably. However, truly swimming in the traditional sense wasn't really possible.

This is a simple hotel. The grounds are well-maintained, and the shower has good hot water pressure, though the furniture is a bit worn out. Breakfast is standard fare (eggs any style, bacon, ham, sausages, salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cheese, fruit, and pastries). The beach is beautiful, but you can't swim there due to sharp rocks everywhere. A 10-minute walk away, there's a 7/11 and an amazing beach with squeaky white sand and clear water. The most disappointing part was that during our stay, there was an intermittent smell of garbage on the property, and we had large cockroaches crawl into our room a couple of times.

A wonderful, quiet, and cozy hotel. Excellent pool with direct beach access. The beach is interesting, but we didn't swim because there was a lot of seaweed in the water. The breakfasts aren't extravagant, but generally sufficient. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a wide variety of trees. The evening lighting is gorgeous. We had a large, spacious bungalow with a kitchen and a veranda. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel! The welcome was top-notch, especially with the coconut ice cream upon arrival. The restaurant was delicious with impeccable service. Scooter rental was great and not extremely expensive compared to the rental place next to the hotel: 2 scooters for 24 hours cost 600 THB.
