UH Suite the Myeongdong

We stayed in UH Myeongdong. Nice location, convenient but not crowded . The beds are comfortable and clean.

Location is great. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. Good for 6 pax adult. The living room area gave us space to gather together every night. Provided utensils, plates, bowl, microwave, wine glasses, disposable bedroom slippers. We had a great stay.

The hotel is in a very good location, after shopping we could drop our stuff in the hotel easily. The hotel only cleans your room on the fourth day of your stay. Each day they will remove the rubbish and change towels. They provide whatsapp or wechat customer services which is good. The hotel is not new, but clean. What I am concerned about is safety. They have a lift, everybody can go up without a room card or passcode.

Location is good, few mins walk to myeongdong station, and not far away from the myeongdong street. However, the cleanliness not really good, only once every 4 days of stay, even after cleaning, I can still see hairs around, the chicken skin that was accidentally dropped under the chair was not cleared. The carpet is old and dirty with stains, sofa so old and dirty, Good thing is we still get daily cleaned towels and water replenished everyday. Bad thing, we requested extra blanket and pillows, they are chargeable, and it's the hotel policy. Although there are 2 toilets, look carefully at the photos, 1 of the toilet although has shower head but it like at the bidet level, so u have to hold it to shower and there is no shower screen to separate the shower area and toilet bowl, so the whole toilet will be wet! Hence, we have group of 8, sharing 1 toilet for shower, took us hours every day for everyone to be done showering. And that toilet gets wet as well even though with shower screen, every day we have to change many floor mats. And we requested to extend 30mins for checkout but was rejected unless we are willing to give 5 stars rating.

Amazing location, it’s near the Myeongdong shopping district! Staff also very responsive! We were also given beer under our booking which suits the theme of cinema stay.

Everything was good except the carpet was too dirty and the room with the windows was quite stuffy.

Love the room with the soaking tub but located at the living room which was a little inconvenient as have to walk across to the toilet. All else was good

Great hotel service and in middle of Myeong-dong! Do note the Uber/Taxi apps can’t set pickup point right outside the hotel entrance, you got to walk out to main street, all else is good about the location They offer free beer and nachos or popcorn for the movie room. They went out of the way to find me birthday candles which I forgot to bring and can’t find anywhere in Myeong-dong. The room is great and cool concept except there are no windows. Late check-out is also not tolerated. Check-out after 11:10am is chargeable, I requested a-bit more time and only offered till 11:20am else charges start at 20,000KRW. No toothbrush and toothpaste as well, is sold for 6,500KRW for a pack of 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste. Bring your own!

Absolutely perfect for a 2-night stay, close to everything you need. The bath was an absolute plus after a full day of walking!
