The approximately 4.2-kilometer-long Jeddah waterfront promenade has been transformed into a relaxed area with a marina, swimming pools, restaurants, beautiful walking trails, and bike paths. Identical sculptures by figures such as Henry Moore and Joan Miro, which arrived in the city in the 1970s, are located along the waterfront. For many, a visit here is to watch the sunset over the Red Sea and then admire the King Fahd Fountain, which rises to a height of 300 meters and illuminates the entire city until midnight.
