This time at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, I specifically chose to stay in the historic No. 2 Bund building. As someone who loves city history, this stay was more than just accommodation; it was an immersive urban experience. The dedicated concierge, Aaron Vicky, was fantastic. September in Shanghai sheds the stifling heat of summer; the evening breeze swept across the Huangpu River, and the streets of the Bund were less noisy from the scorching heat, offering a more relaxed atmosphere.

During my trip to Shanghai, I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, which coincided with the city's vibrant tourism festival. There were many activities around the Bund, and a lot of visitors. Shanghai in September has such pleasant evenings. Staying at the Waldorf and strolling along the Bund in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It truly allowed us to immerse ourselves in the romance of Shanghai in autumn. The hardware, service, and superb location – all were exceptional. The ultimate luxury hotel you must visit when in Shanghai! The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to the Bund. The retro interior design creates a wonderful atmosphere, the bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is excellent.
