ibis Styles Bangkok Silom

The hotel's location is convenient, right in the heart of the Silom area, near the MRT station. It's only two stops away from Siam station. There's a night market, morning market, and various restaurants nearby. Downstairs, you'll find Boots and a large 7-Eleven. This time, I booked connecting rooms, which were clean overall, and my family found them comfortable.

The staff are very friendly. The lobby feels very spacious and comfortable. The environment is clean. The price might be a consideration. This time, I stayed during the off-season, late August, for 6 days and 5 nights, and the average daily rate was a little over 2000 [currency]. I felt it was a bit pricey.

It was pretty good overall. The room was a bit small, but everything else was fine. The staff were very welcoming, and it was quite clean. The breakfast selection was also decent. The overall environment was pleasant.

The location is great and convenient, with both 7-11 and Lawson nearby. If you choose a room facing the courtyard, the soundproofing can be a bit poor, and I didn't like having to keep the curtains drawn all the time. I'd recommend choosing a room with an outward-facing window instead.

The location is indeed very convenient, but the hotel's building design has soundproofing issues. If your room faces inwards, it's incredibly noisy. From high-floor rooms, you can hear the lobby noise from the ground floor, even the clanking of cutlery from the restaurant, and people who have been out partying talking loudly in the middle of the night... If you're a light sleeper, you definitely need to tell the front desk to arrange a room facing outwards.
