Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac

This is my second visit to Quebec City. I fell in love with this beautiful old city because of the Korean drama 'Goblin'. The river view rooms are indeed beautiful. I believe anyone who comes to Quebec City and enters the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac will fall in love with this place! On the first night, the Fairmont King Room provided by the hotel was on the 4th floor facing the inner courtyard. However, there was a noisy machine outside the window, which woke me up around 5 AM. After some thought, I contacted Trip.com customer service to help me negotiate with the hotel for a room change. By noon that day, I received an email from the hotel informing me that the room had been changed. The new room was on the 7th floor, and this room had no noise disturbing my sleep! Thanks to Trip.com customer service for their help! And thank you to Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac for their prompt arrangement! (The hotel rooms are equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, etc. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, making dining and shopping super convenient!)

This hotel offers excellent service. Even though it was incredibly busy, check-in was fast, and our luggage was brought to our room very quickly. The efficiency here is noticeably higher than other hotels. While the room wasn't huge, it was still very good for a hotel of this age. The view from the window was beautiful, perfect for watching the sunset. Aside from the high price and the traffic getting there by taxi or car, there's not much to complain about.

Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac is a century-old French castle with a rich history; Queen Elizabeth II once stayed here, and Roosevelt and Churchill made important decisions here during World War II. The French guided tour was excellent! However, the room facilities are mediocre, the air conditioning is particularly noisy, and the toilet flush is not working well. The facilities need improvement.

Everything was great overall! It's a classic, well-established hotel after all. It was just super crowded! The hotel's restaurant was also good, and the Michelin-starred one had delicious food. Environment: It's located right within the scenic area, making it very convenient to get to Rue du Petit Champlain!

An old, classic hotel with an unbeatable location. Staying here comes with valet parking, and you can easily city walk everywhere. There are many great French restaurants nearby, and there's even a museum in the basement.

Excellent location right in the heart of Old Town. The service was okay, but the price is incredibly high, making the overall experience feel a bit lacking. I really don't think staying at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is a must when visiting Quebec City. As soon as you walk in, you're hit with an outdated feeling; it doesn't have that sense of grandeur and luxury you'd find at, say, the Peace Hotel, nor the meticulous and thoughtful service of the Seattle Fairmont. If I were to come again, I'd probably opt for a quality B&B in the Old Town for a more comfortable stay.
