Conrad Shenyang

This is truly the best hotel in Shenyang, and I thoroughly enjoyed my staycation. I especially appreciated that the staff spoke English, which was very helpful. The executive lounge staff were particularly wonderful, as one of them even asked in Korean if I needed anything! As expected of a 5-star hotel, the gym equipment featured Technogym machines. Overall, it was a very satisfying two-night stay.

The hotel is in a great location with panoramic views overlooking the entire city. The bedding was as comfortable as always, and we were welcomed with a fruit platter. However, on the day of check-out, housekeeping knocked on the door just after 8:00 AM asking if we were checking out, which was quite intrusive and unpleasant. Also, the gym and pool area don't provide bottled water—only a water dispenser with cups—so we had to bring our own water bottles from the room every time.

We had a wonderful stay with the family. The hotel thoughtfully provided a fruit platter, small plush toys, and plenty of bottled water. They also helped with our bulky luggage—the service was truly meticulous and attentive. A special shout-out to Tilda, Vera, and Helen for their thoughtful arrangements, which made our entire trip comfortable and hassle-free.

An absolutely wonderful stay! I was pressed for time and didn't have a chance to do much research, but after seeing great reviews on RED (Xiaohongshu) and Doubao, I went ahead and booked it on short notice. To my surprise, the experience far exceeded my expectations: 1. Facilities & Location: Everything was fantastic—from the room decor and hotel location to the quality of the buffet. 2. Unexpected Perk: At 88 stories high, the hotel is the tallest building in Shenyang. Overlooking the entire city from the top floor was incredible; everything below looked like miniature toys. Such incredible value for money! 3. Service Experience: Since it was a last-minute booking, I called the front desk beforehand with a ton of questions about the location, proximity to the Mukden Palace and the Marshal Zhang's Mansion, as well as room types. The staff answered each question with great detail and patience, which saved me a lot of trip-planning time. I even made a point to ask for their names—their warm hospitality truly reflected the hotel's heart. Huge thumbs up! Kudos to the front desk team: HELEN, TILDA, and VERA.

What I liked: The hotel's decor is excellent, and the facilities are new and complete; the pool, the service during check-out was very good; the concierge service was excellent; a foreign manager was at the entrance asking guests not to smoke. What I didn't like: The hygiene conditions were very poor. There were stubborn stains in the bathtub, small bugs crawled out of the drain, and after running water, there was a layer of oil scum. The promotional booklet in the room had been soiled by previous guests and was not replaced with a new one. When I was checking in, there were three receptionists: two were chatting, and one was looking at the computer. I walked from the elevator lobby to the front desk and waited for the two to finish their conversation before anyone finally greeted me to check me in. The foreign manager always gave off an arrogant vibe during his rounds.

Our stay this time was absolutely perfect, exceeding expectations in every way. Ada at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel was spotless, the environment comfortable, and the service warm and meticulous. The entire experience felt natural and relaxing, without any hidden tricks. It offers exceptional value for money and is a place I truly love. I will definitely be a frequent guest!

This is probably the best hotel in Shenyang. The room facilities and service are both excellent. I chose to upgrade to an executive room at the front desk and had the chance to experience the lounge. Unexpectedly, I saw a beautiful sunset! The lounge had a great selection of soft drinks and snacks. Kelly and Rachel provided excellent service. The evening snacks were almost like a full meal. The gym facilities were comprehensive, and there was also a pool and sauna. It was truly wonderful.

After my flight landed, the hotel I originally booked was really subpar, so late at night, I urgently booked the Conrad, which was the most convenient to reach on foot, and it lived up to expectations. It was clean and hygienic, and the bedding was comfortable. Although it's on a high floor in a sealed environment, the air quality was still fresh. For breakfast, some of the service staff were perfunctory and impatient, which was a big drawback! Also, having to switch elevators multiple times is not friendly for older people. Overall, it's still very good and worth recommending.
