Wehad a pleasant stay at Slow On Hostel Hongdae. The location is excellent, just a 5–7 minute walk to central Hongdae, making it very convenient for food, shopping, and exploring the area.
The room was small but the bed was comfortable. We only stayed for one night as it was an extra day added to our trip, and the price for a short stay was definitely worth it.
The best part was the luggage service. We were able to drop off our luggage before check-in and leave it after check-out, which was very helpful. The staff were kind and even assisted us with carrying our luggage upstairs during check-in.
As for the downsides, the hostel is located on the 5th floor with no lift, so you need to take the stairs. We were aware of this before booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. Another thing to note is that the toilet and shower are combined and quite small, which may be uncomfortable, especially for bigger-sized guests.
On the positive side, there was free coffee and cereal available, and laundry machines could be used during appropriate hours.
Overall, it was a good stay with a great location and friendly service, especially for a short and budget-friendly trip.
