Blackberry Inn

Best bnb we've stayed at!!! The details &special touches from rooms to breakfast were top notch! The atmosphere is super friendly. Bob and Cat are the best hosts!!! Can't say enough. The location from The Blackberry is walkable to everywhere.

Had a quick night here on our way back down the coast. Our room/bed was comfortable and a small window ac unit cooled the room a bit. Best features were the friendly/ accommodating hosts (Bob & Cat) and the breakfast out in the garden! Nice garden tables and setting to start the day before continuing our drive south.

Bob and Cat are consummate hosts, tjat perfect blend of warmth and kindness without being intrusive. The inn is lovely with historical features and furniture. The location is walking distance to downtown/harbor area and breakfast is not to be missed! Would definitely stay here again!

Marvelously comfortable place. We had our own "secret" room in the back off the small English garden. Easy parking, fantastic host and hostess (Bob and Cat), superb and simple breakfasts. And a leisurely if a bit long walk to town and the harbor. But parking was also easily found. Great food and drink at the harbor. And the long walks around town (you'll get a map) are through incredibly well-kept neighborhoods. A wonderful and relaxing time with very friendly people.

My friend and I booked a couple of rooms over Memorial Day weekend. She was in the Bette Davis room and I was in the Painted Lady room. Both rooms were very charming and comfortable (and clean). Despite the rooms being on the front of the house, we did not find the traffic noise to be at all bothersome. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Bob and Cat were gracious and welcoming. The location is ideal (it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the harbor). I would gladly stay at the Blackberry Inn again.

Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star.

We loved everything about the inn, from the comfortable bed to the delicious breakfast. It was very clean, with beautiful interiors and exteriors and it’s clear they take great care in maintaining every detail. The service was excellent throughout our stay, the hosts, Bob and Cat were also amazing and made the stay even more enjoyable. P.s we managed to spot a moose in Rockwood.

Beautiful building. Friendly staff. Great location!

A cozy and elegant property. The innkeepers are welcoming and friendly, and have filled the inn with lovingly chosen artiistic details. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier winter weekend getaway.
