Nice and comfortable Hotel and just next to Marburg Old Town! How close? Just cross the street and take a left and you have already arrived. The breakfast is wonderful and delicious. Staff is friendly. I do enjoy my stay in Welcome hotel. The hotel suitable to family and couples.

I booked Welcome Hotel Marburg based on the good reviews of others, and the hotel satisfied my needs. The location is convenient, walkable distance to town and the famous old town, St.Elizabeth Church, and other historical sites. The room is clean and reasonable size, the shower is hot. Wi-Fi fast. The Air condition works well over the hot days here. But there are a few minor downside; the bed is a bit too soft ; and the room only ofter a very small bottle of water offered for 2 people, also there is no kettle in the room. Also no amenities like shower cap. The best is the buffet breakfast which is really worthwhile, there is a wide selection of well-prepared hot food, cold cut , friuts , healthy yogurt and cereals, all types of bread ,and a very wide variety of herbal tea. I am overall happy with Welcome Hotel Marburg.

Beautifully air-conditioned room which was well needed in the 40 degree heat. Breakfast had everything I wanted and more. Staff were very friendly and nice that they spoke English to us. They helped us book a taxi and gave us an idea of where to go into town to get the best sights. The room has slippers and robes which i was not expecting and complementary water.
