Nantucket Inn

Great property. The best pillows we have had in a long time. Convenient shuttle service and loved the free bikes!

My family and I recently stayed at the Nantucket Inn. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful and made our stay even better. The property is very nice with 2 pools, lots of bikes available and vans to take you to the beach or town. We would definitely stay again.

Price was lower compared to other options, room was clean, staff was helpful, shuttle was very nice.

How I wish the bed is better, the mattress protection is gross and rough so it is very uncomfortable and the comforter is gross and old. Thankful for the ladies that clean the room because she replaced my worn out comforter. All staff are friendly and helpful except for one lady at the front desk who seemed to be don’t want to be bothered… I ask for quarters for laundry and lied that they are out.

The place is really great! The staff by far were the best part, extremely friendly and helpful with everything! We also had a place to store our luggage for when we wanted to go explore but were unable to check-in. The lobby and room were very nice and clean, as well as the amenities like the pool. The shuttle made it very convenient to get around too. Overall wonderful stay and place!

Staff was very professional and informative. The shuttle service is excellent and very accommodating. It made getting around the island very easy.

Worst experience. I understand small inconveniences. But our lock stopped working, we had to wait outside. Then for 2 hours we’re trying to fix and “investigate” finally moved us 5 minutes before we had to leave for dinner, which was cutting it close. Went back at night and the light and tv in our new room weren’t working. Called again and needed someone to come in a fix it. My husband and I’s alone time was cut very short. Also it is dog friendly hotel which is fine. But I complained about it and was told they accept dogs. This dog barked until 2am and woke me up at 6am.

The Nantucket Inn was a pleasant surprise. From the outside, the property definitely shows its age, but the rooms have been nicely updated and were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is very convenient, especially if you’re flying in or out of Nantucket, as it’s right next to the airport. There were a few drawbacks. Our room was located three courtyard sections away from the check-in area and required climbing an older set of exterior stairs to reach the second floor. My mother uses a cane, and despite our request, the hotel was unable to accommodate her with a first-floor room, which was disappointing and made getting to and from the room more challenging than expected. The decks, walkways, and stairs could also use some attention, as they felt rough and showed their age. That said, the room itself was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the overall stay was pleasant. While it may not be the most polished property on the island, The Nantucket Inn offers good value, comfortable accommodations, and a convenient location. I’d consider it a solid backup option for a future Nantucket trip.
