Pioneer Inn Downtown

The room was perfect for what I needed this trip. I was a late arrival and Lila made everything easy for me to self check-in - down to a late checkout so I could get some much needed rest! This will likely be my new go-to when I'm looking for a place to stay in Homer!

The rooms are horribly outdated, worn and very small There was a rancid odor in the room. I would not recommend the room to anyone nor would I ever stay there again . The only good feature was the manager she was very nice and helpful

The Pioneer Inn is not a cabin, it's a motel. It's fine but ground floor is really noisy because of the people upstairs and it's chock full-and I mean chock full-of where to dine info that is tacked onto the walls in numerous places and in books and there's signage virtually everywhere and QR codes to scan in case you missed the analog info.

There was plenty of room for two. The back bedroom offers privacy and though we didn't use the kitchenette it's a handy option for anyone who wants to cook. The instructions for my arrival were thorough making it an easy process for checking in. Great stay!

A convenient place It’s a convenient way to visit Homer. Despite a little lack of space in the room there’s really everything you can be in need of. Even very detailed and updated information about Homer, activities and weather is provided. Position is good provided you have your own vehicle.

We were just there overnight to take an excursion out of Homer early the next morning, but it was easy to walk to get our dinner and then ice cream on the way back. It was very comfortable.

We booked 1 night. Within 10 minutes after arrival we added a second night. The place was great. Spacious, clean, had all amenities to make the stay comfortable. Complete kitchen with pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker and ground coffee, toaster, you name it. Cafes, restaurants and galleries in walking distance. Very quite at nighttime, so we could sleep with open window.. would stay here again.

Beautiful area overlooking downtown Homer. Room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our room was equipped with a coffee maker and supplies of not only coffee and tea but also hot chocolate. The bed was comfortable and lots of towels available. Kitchen supplies would make it a perfect place for extended stay - I’m sorry we weren’t able to stay more than one night.
