Rosewood Beijing

As the inaugural property of the Rosewood Hotel Group in mainland China, Rosewood Beijing, opened in 2014, fully embodies the essence of Rosewood's 'A Sense of Place'. Beyond its excellent location, the guest rooms are well-maintained, cozy, and comfortable, with soft, warm lighting. The amenities are complete, and the views are fantastic. The staff are enthusiastic, genuine, and hospitable. During this stay, I was fortunate to experience the WoW privileges recently launched by Trip.com for Black Diamond members. Although there were some minor hiccups during the check-in process, they were overshadowed by the positives. My room was upgraded by two categories, from a Deluxe Room to an Executive Room, offering high-floor views directly facing the CCTV Headquarters, providing a panoramic vista of Beijing's bustling CBD. The Black Diamond exclusive welcome amenities were very thoughtful, and the breakfast quality was consistently good. It's worth noting that the gym offers a wide selection of beverages, perfect for rehydrating after a workout – a very thoughtful detail. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Had a very pleasant stay. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Guomao (China World Trade Center), with plenty of great food options nearby, including several Michelin-starred restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, and the 2-meter king-size bed was fantastic. The swimming pool is beautiful, and the gym is even better, with its own dedicated yoga room. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it has everything you need. Highly recommended.

The rooms were excellent, and the staff were all very professional and enthusiastic. Special shout-out to Sylvia at the front desk for her great service, and also to Lydia, Haley, June, and Liang. I'll definitely be back next time, I really loved it!

This time I stayed at the Rosewood because of some special arrangements, so I contacted the setup team and flower delivery service in advance. Throughout the process, Lucas from Guest Relations was incredibly patient and professional. He not only handled their reception and coordinated access through the staff entrance but also actively helped communicate and coordinate every step, ensuring everything went smoothly. The hotel staff were also very warm and attentive, and incredibly kind to my puppy, providing a dog bed, food bowls, and welcome treats. It was the same when I stayed with my puppy a year ago – truly a rare pet-friendly hotel. The service far exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to my next stay! 🫶🏻

The butler service is available, but they're not very prominent, though their service is perfectly fine. I've eaten at all the restaurants in this hotel. The Country Kitchen is good, and breakfast is decent, but the hot pot restaurant is a no-go, and so is Long Ting.

The room has many mirrors and a great design. The view outside the window is superb, and the service attitude is excellent.

The room was incredibly spacious, and the service was excellent. The swimming pool is beautiful, and I highly recommend trying the egg tarts at the lobby.

Beijing Rosewood Hotel Review (Family Trip - Full Version) Our recent stay at the Rosewood Beijing with our child exceeded our expectations. Grace from the Guest Relations team was incredibly thoughtful, meticulously inquiring about our party and our needs. She even upgraded our room to one with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the CBD skyline. The staff provided delicate and gentle service; they proactively helped with our luggage, and the turndown service was a nice touch. Our butler was also very responsive. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Overall, a very satisfying stay. The design creates an incredible ambiance, with a modern Chinese soft furnishing style complemented by art paintings, exuding understated luxury. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the CCTV Tower, providing exceptional CBD cityscapes. The staff were polite and attentive throughout. Special shout-out to Lucas for his excellent service and attitude. Housekeeping was meticulous, the bedding was soft, and the Lorenzo Villoresi toiletries felt high-quality. The mini-bar soft drinks were complimentary, and the turndown service included small treats – a lot of thoughtful details. The only drawback is that the hotel has been open for several years, and some facilities show their age. There's slight wear and tear on the bathroom fixtures and in-room appliances, and a few switches feel a bit old. There's room for improvement in maintenance. Aside from the aging facilities, the service, views, and amenities are top-tier among luxury brands in Beijing. Highly recommended for business travel or a city getaway. The experience will be even more perfect after a renovation.
