Very nice and clean room. Reception can speak english. Have bidet, and halal restaurant just behind the hotel. Easy excess to nanjing road just infront hotel. Got free laundry too.

I don't usually write hotel reviews, but the exceptional service here truly earned it. While the hotel is on the pricier side, you 100% get what you pay for. What we loved: * Prime Location: Just a few steps away from Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street with a fantastic view right from our room. * Thoughtful Service: The staff went above and beyond-they decorated our room for my daughter's birthday completely free of charge, which was such a touched moment for our family! * English-Speaking & Accommodating Staff:
Communication was smooth, and staff were always ready to help (they even gave us disposable raincoats when umbrellas were temporarily unavailable). * Amazing Free Perks: Complimentary coffee in the lobby coffee shop, free drinks in the mini-bar, late-night snacks (noodles, dim sum, tofu, juice, and fresh fruit), late checkout at 2:00 PM and a lovely farewell gift bag when we checked out. A few minor notes for improvement: The hotel is a bit old, though well-maintained overall. The elevator key card reader can be glitchy and sometimes takes multiple attempts to scan (we noticed other guests having the same issue). Also, while having a self-service laundry area is a great feature, the washer unit I used had a bit of an unpleasant smell and could use clearer operational instructions and better maintenance. Overall, the warm hospitality and incredible perks far outweighed the minor flaws. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!🫶

Great location. I can't handle China's public toilets so I kept on returning to the hotel whenever nature's call. About 20mins stroll to the Bund. Liked it so much I did 2 trips on one day for day and night views. The hotel shared the same building as Holiday Inn but separate lobby. I booked a room with view to the People's Park and spent some time watching the billboards! Complimentary fruity drinks and a coffee. They even gave parting gifts (hand cream, white rabbit lollies and fridge magnet) - nice gesture. I used the laundry (auto detergent supplied) and dryer. Can't remember whether it was on L5 or L6 now and accidentally used to wrong lift and exited through Holiday Inn 😅. What I didn't like: 1) the open washroom concept (had to dress in the shower) and 2) standardised temperature which was a bit warm for me for a pleasant sleep (22°C).

The accommodation is located right next to the Holiday Inn on the main road, making it convenient to hail a taxi and within walking distance of The Bund. The room amenities were well-stocked, lacking only body lotion. Free noodles are served for guests returning late between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, and a small souvenir is even provided upon check-out.
