The hotel is located a bit too far from the airport, almost 1 hour journey (without heavy traffic jam)by DIDI and the fare is around RMB155-180. However it is very near to the Nanjing East Road shopping street, walking distance to The Bond.
The hotel amenities are good, tooth brush & paste was given upon checked-in. towers are placed in the sanitizing container, beside coffee tea, the room also have soft drinks in the fridge which are free for room guest.
The hotel also given us coffee voucher which can redeem it during the coffee counter opening hours, We also can have free noodles, selected fruits & drinks from 8pm to 10pm everyday.
The bed & pillows are clean & comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to shopping areas. Taxis can stop right in front of the hotel. The bathroom is excellent and has a bidet spray. There is no cigarette smell in the room at all. The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and genuinely attentive.

Overall, we had a great stay at Shanghai Elong. The location is excellent, and the service was consistently professional and friendly. However, a few things took away from the experience—many guests were smoking in the lifts and toilets, which was unpleasant. On our check-out day, they started changing the carpet, and there was glue all over the floor, which made our shoes sticky. Despite these issues, it was still a good stay and we’d consider coming back.

Great place to stay in Shanghai! The location is perfect, close to many attractions, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean, the atmosphere is cozy, and everything feels well taken care of.

The stay was excellent. It was our first time to China and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I’ve heard A/C in some hotels were a problem but not at all here. Very close to Nanjing road and the Bund with excellent view. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to China.

Room, location, and service from staff was all excellent. Not having to take a metro to get to Nanjing road pedestrian street saves us a lot of precious time and energy. The welcome gifts and check out gifts added made everything extra special. Well done Elong Hotel. The view from Nanjing road facing room was also awesome.

We enjoyed our stay here as is very convenient to anywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Order food thru the staff and receive the delivery thru robot. Will come back again soon.
