Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford - Farmington

I stayed one night and everything was great!

A bit old, big rooms. Breakfast acceptable.

We stayed for 2 nights. The cleaning staff did not come to clean the room. The swimming pool is supposed to be a heated pool. The water is freezing in the pool.

We have stayed here several times. Over time the maintenance of the place seems to have gone down hill. On this past stay, the refrigerator in our suite was very loud. When running the hot water out of the faucet in the restroom the faucet made a screeching noise and the water tasted so bad we could not use it to brush our teeth. We made the best of it as we were just there for a quick overnight. At breakfast the waffle iron was either not working or they were out of mix, not sure which. The chairs in the dining area were stained and sticky with maple syrup. More attention to detail seems to be needed. One positive note - he beds are very comfortable and that is what is most important to us. We are in the area often, but may look elsewhere before booking again.

The staff was extremely helpful during both check-in and check-out. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options, and everything was clean. The room was well maintained and comfortable throughout our stay.

I had a beautiful experience my kids love the time in the pool the the room was excellent the breakfast was very good and the manager was a very professional person and her staff thanks for everything.

At check-in the credit card from Hotels.com/Expedia was denied. It was different than the card I had booked the room with, the card in my ********** account. My spouse who was staying at the hotel had to pay for it. Therefore, we were charged twice. I will be calling Chase Bank to dispute the original payment which had already been charged. I will also call ********** regarding this error.
