Sand Sea Resort Railay Krabi

Great location on Railay Island, and the breakfast has an amazing view 😍. The breakfast itself is just average—the Thai dishes are good, but the pastries and coffee are not great. However, there is an Amazon cafe right at the hotel where you can get good coffee. The room (a villa) is a bit dated and tired, but nothing too critical. We saw monitor lizards and monkeys on the property. To get there, you need to take a boat. The hotel boat and regular longtail boats cost the same at 100 baht per person, and the ride takes about 10 minutes. Overall, I recommend it—the views from the beach are fantastic!

This trip was with a large family, and we booked a total of 5 rooms. We drove our own cars and parked them at the company's office on the mainland, from where their tricycles or four-wheeled vehicles dropped us off at the pier. The staff provided great service. Upon arrival, the hotel was beautiful with a total of 3 swimming pools, making it very convenient as there is a pool to swim in no matter which corner of the hotel you are in. The hotel view is simply the best because I love the atmosphere for taking chill photos. That area gives an Amazon-like vibe with stunning views. In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel. As Muslims, we could dine with complete peace of mind, and the hotel is so thoughtful that they even offered a 20% discount promotion for dining at the hotel. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely visit again if we have the chance.

It has been a wonderful experience in charming locations. It is close to everything and everything is very well maintained. I loved the bungalows; they are set in a beautiful environment full of wildlife, fauna, and flora, and very close to all the pools. The breakfast is also quite good. To be honest, I can recommend it to everyone and would love to return someday.

The accommodation is visually pleasing and great for relaxation. However, the room arrangement didn't meet our request, and there was still dust along the walls. A young, skinny male staff member drove the buggy extremely fast and dangerously—it almost felt like riding a race car and we nearly fell off. On the bright side, the breakfast was fantastic and the ocean view was amazing. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

Good hotel with lots of wildlife around. Convenient access to the beach. The only downside is that the rooms are a bit dated, but otherwise everything was great.

Clean rooms and great service. We got a room right by the sea. Highly recommend the ones near Café Amazon—the view is stunning and the atmosphere is amazing!

The hotel grounds are fantastic, with plenty of greenery and monkeys running around—the resort really lives up to its name here. There are three small pools located in different areas of the property. The rooms are a bit tired, and the breakfasts are rather sparse, but the staff are mostly friendly. The restaurant is situated right on the beach. Getting to Phra Nang Beach is much shorter since the hotel grounds directly adjoin the beach with the pier.

We loved everything! The cottages were cozy and comfortable, and the grounds were green and beautiful. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A wonderful place for a relaxing getaway, we'd gladly come back again!

Comfortable hotel, free room upgrade! Right by the beach with beautiful sand and great for swimming. Stunning sunset views, and within easy walking distance to Phra Nang Cave for a nice, relaxing stroll.
