AC Hotel Irla

Overall is good. The breakfast is not really good.

Just normal. Nothing outstanding to say.

The lobby was nice and inviting. The location is a short walk to the bus stops on Pl. Francesc Macia. The area around has good shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is small, less than 40 rooms, and there is no driveway for drop offs as it is on a busy street. The room we had was in the second floor facing the street with a restaurant across it. It was noisy until 3am and if you are a light sleeper, this is an issue. The room was clean enough but had a strong perfumey smell to it. We had to crack open the window to let it cycle through. Housekeeping was good and prompt. We did not opt in to the breakfast buffet as there are a few pastry shops and Mercat Galvany close by.

Do not do business with this hotel

The hotel was great! Everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh bread and pastries. Also they would make us eggs how ever we wanted them.

A small hotel just 2-3 mts walk, 100m off of the Diagonal….and thus much better value than other brands 15 mts closer to Sagreda Familia, La Rambla etc…..from the airport 30 mts and €35 bzy taxi The rooms are quite small, but you are out most of the day anyway that should not be a deal breaker unless you need the space! The beds are however comfortable, rooms are clean, the shower is powerful and hot…essentially all you need. If you need fitness you may prefer to run down the diagonal, the fitness centre here is cozy, a few of typical machines but a bit sterile…not really a great place to work up a sweat….(no sign of the advertised turkish bath or sauna on the website either) Breakfast at €18 is expensive if you only want a coffee and croissant, better to goto a local coffee….saying that if you want a lot of food the choice is good, omelettes made fresh and then it is no more expensive than going local … All in all a reasonable hotel within a walking distance of most key sights and fairly priced…

I stayed for two nights in business. Hotel is nicely located near shops bars and restaurants but about 20 mins in taxi to the beach. Staff are very nice, hotel is very clean. Rooms are basic but that’s what you would expect from this hotel however bed is comfortable and has tea coffee drinks etc. has a tiny gym which i didn’t use and doesn’t have a bar but there are others close by. I would recommend.

The property places wash cloths in the bathroom without having to request-not typical in Europe-much appreciated. Very clean room and bathroom-very much appreciated! Quite walkable location to shopping and transportation hubs if traveling further to attractions.

The property was nice and the breakfast was good. The breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful. Front desk helpful as well. Requested clean towels each day and never received them. They just refolded the used ones and hung them up. Never left clean glasses or cups. Also provided one five pack of tissues and never left additional ones.
