Platinum Beach Hotel & Apartment

Location was great, however the beds were very small and we booked for four people yet only got given two towels. The room had bugs everywhere including cockroaches!

- I requested a non smoking room but I have to suffer 4 days and nights because of heavy smoke smells - The walls were broken and one of them was rough without paint, the ceiling had a patch to cover the leaking, the wardrobe was very dirty and torn up at the upper corner. The kettle had a strange plug, the hair dryer did not work; the safety door latch was missing…    This hotel does need a serious renovation. It was a nightmare to stay there

This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at in Da Nang, and the most unpleasant experience I've ever had. I arrived around noon and was told that early check-in would cost 200,000 dong. So I came back at 2 PM, but since I had already received the key at 12 PM, I was told to pay the fee. I told them I would come back at 2 PM. I also informed the reception and they promised that there would be no additional charges after I registered, but they kept asking me for the fee over and over again. When I told the manager about it, he seemed furious, kicked the slippers in my room, and stormed out. This was the first time I've ever experienced such violence, and the most humiliating experience. It's one of the worst hotels, the staff here have absolutely no manners, and the hotel facilities are extremely poor. There's no fan or anything, and the air conditioner's remote control display doesn't work; it's just a box. I will never stay here again, and I hope they stop their violent behavior. I don't want to be kicked.

A good hotel for a short stay. There’s a nice view from the room, but the apartment itself is a bit shabby. There is some renovation going on at the moment, and they start hammering early in the morning, so be aware — it was quite stressful. The reception is open until 5–6 p.m., so keep that in mind in case you lose your key card — you might have to wait until morning. There’s a nice smoothie bar next door — I really loved it!

The location and gentleman at reception were nice but our room had cockroches running around. When we checked in saw 2 and thought it was just normal came back to put water in the fridge and a few ran. Pulled the chair few more. My partner and I didnt get sleep due to that. Cleanliness needs to be better. Other than that good hotel
