Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Garden by IHG

We originally wanted to book a different hotel, but due to my surgery, we ended up staying at the same hotel for the entire two weeks. However, it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The room was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the hotel's hot springs were very relaxing and not too crowded. We occasionally saw tour groups from Taiwan there.

This was by far the most stunning hotel of our trip! As soon as we entered the lobby, we were captivated by the panoramic views of Inuyama Castle, and the surrounding scenery was perfectly integrated. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and well-designed, with every room offering a fantastic view. We were provided with three sets of sleepwear and yukata, which added a wonderful touch of ceremony – I especially loved the pure linen yukata! The Uraku-en Garden was exquisite; walking through it on a rainy day felt like stepping back into ancient times, truly moving.

The hotel is great, offering a slow-paced, pastoral lifestyle. The breakfast is semi-buffet with a à la carte menu. There's only one restaurant, a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, and the food tastes good. The coffee, however, is just average. You get a 10% discount if you pay with your mobile phone.

Everything about this place is great! The environment is tranquil, the air is fresh, and it's close to both the Kiso River and the castle town. The gym equipment is good, and the unique Hakutei hot spring is definitely worth a dip. Plus, with your room card, you get free entry to Yūrakuen.

The lobby is beautiful, the facilities are new, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the hot spring bath with a beautiful view of Inuyama Castle. The only downsides are that there aren't many restaurants or shops around the hotel, and the gym, while pretty, has limited equipment and isn't very practical.
