A really lovely hotel in a good location. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the reception, breakfast/bakery section looked lovely as well. The only disappointment was that some of the reception staff were not always that helpful. The hotel does not offer an in‑house laundry service, but they did arrange to send our items to an external laundromat, which we appreciated. However, we were asked to pay in cash on return, yet they couldn’t tell us the cost or when the laundry would be delivered back. The laundry was returned while we were out the following day, and the message indicating that an “exception” had been made by paying the fee on our behalf came across as somewhat unprofessional and unfriendly, particularly given the lack of information provided beforehand. Apart from that, it was a good experience overall and the staff at breakfast and in the bakery were lovely.
