Everything was amazing from the moment we arrived on the island to the moment we left. We stayed on this fabulous island for seven days. We really liked the attitude of the staff, the island itself, the lunches and dinners. Snorkeling to the neighboring island was amazing! At the end of the vacation, we used the barbecue service, it was one of the most unforgettable moments of our vacation. However, if you are planning your stay in this hotel for the first time, there are things you need to know about: 1. First of all, the reef around the hotel is dead, there are few fish swimming there, and if you want fish and sharks swimming around your hotel, unfortunately, this will not happen. 2. Due to the fact that the hotel itself is a renovation of the old hotel, which was previously in its place, the first villa in which we were settled was old and did not look the same as in the photo on Booking. We asked to see all the villas and relocate us, and most of all we liked the “Water villa” and the villa with the name "Retreat". Retreat villas are new built. 3. Breakfasts, in our opinion, were boring and not so tasty, but lunches and dinners were always incredibly delicious. I would like to point out that despite all the disadvantages, the hotel staff did everything to make us enjoy our stay. Special thanks to our butler Ardana!

I received a very warm welcome, from the lounge while waiting for the seaplane. There was drumming and all the staff were standing by to greet me. We had a gem Latheef who gave us advice and helped us plan our day's activities, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The villa was beautiful and comfortable, and the cleaning staff did a great job every day. The restaurant was also very good. I enjoyed the Spanish food the most. We had dinner there twice. The Japanese, Italian, and Asian food were also very delicious. On Fridays, there was a BBQ buffet with live music. The atmosphere was romantic. The staff gave me many souvenirs. It was a very fun and happy trip.

From the time we got off the seaplane till the time we left five days later this was an amazing experience. The staff. The food. The activities. All ten out of ten. It’s not cheap with a once in a lifetime experience.

We have been visiting this island over a period of 20 years, albeit under different resort management, and this was the first time under Six Senses. We were a bit apprehensive as they'd made lots of changes during their renovation, but we needn't have worried. Still the most beautiful island and the renovation tastefully done. What we love about this island is its luxury without being pretentious. But what makes it extra special is the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so friendly, but a special shout out to our GEM, Rajeeu. He not only looked after us extremely well, but we were all incredibly sad to say goodbye to him as we saw him as a friend. The only one negative I will say is it's extremely expensive, we spent way more than we ever have done previously, so this now may influence how often we come back. For example, the wine starts at 80USD and we do think masks and flippers should be complementary (always was previously) but other than that our latest visit was 10/10.

Our stay at Six Senses Kanuhura was absolutely wonderful. The island is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by that famous turquoise blue water and a stunning, huge lagoon. The white sandy beach was perfect for relaxing walks and enjoying the breathtaking sunset views each evening. The sky was painted with stunning hues of orange and pink, creating a perfect ending to each day. We had a fantastic time on the deep-sea fishing trip. It was so much fun, and the staff were very helpful, making it a really great experience. The food at the resort's restaurants was delicious, with plenty of choices like Italian and fresh seafood. And the free, unlimited ice cream was a lovely treat every day. A special thank you to our GEM, Rajeeu. He was very attentive and thoughtful. He took excellent care of all our bookings, including the fishing trip and our dinners, making sure everything went smoothly. His service truly made our holiday special and worry-free. We can't wait to return!

The organization of the marriage proposal at Six Senses Kanuhura was simply incredible. Everything was arranged with such attention to detail and efficiency – truly a 10/10 experience! We felt like we were living in a real-life fairy tale, without any exaggeration. We also had the chance to be upgraded to a larger villa, which made our stay even more unforgettable and comfortable, especially with our two babies. A very special mention goes to Sameeh, who took care of us with so much kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth. He made us feel unique and ensured that every detail was perfect. Thanks to him, our trip was beyond exceptional. These unforgettable memories will stay in our hearts forever. We are deeply grateful to Sameeh and the entire Six Senses team for making this dream come true, and we cannot wait to return!
