Super 8 Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station, Corner Men West Subway Station)

This hotel claims to have opened in 2021, but it's a complete scam. It's incredibly dirty, run-down, and old. The bathroom stank, and the soundproofing was so bad I could hear the TV in the next room. I didn't even bother asking for a refund on my room fee; I just packed up and left in the middle of the night because it was already late. The first picture shows water under the floor tiles in the bathroom. When I told the front desk how awful their hotel was, they barely reacted, probably because they're used to it.

The hotel is very close to the subway station, and the surrounding area is convenient. It only takes about ten minutes to reach the South Station from the hotel, including the subway ride. The room was clean and tidy, and the ventilation was good. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful~ Overall, it was comfortable and convenient, and quite exceeded my expectations for the price. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing near the South Station~

It's incredibly convenient whether you're heading to Beijing South Railway Station for a high-speed train or to major downtown landmarks like Xidan and Wangfujing, all accessible by direct subway lines within 30 minutes. There are also multiple bus stops nearby, covering the business district where my internship company is located. Even better, there are supermarkets, convenience stores, and fast-food restaurants (like KFC) nearby, so you can easily grab a bite even late at night, never having to worry about going hungry. I stayed in a standard twin room, which was quite spacious and very well-designed, perfectly meeting the needs of two students traveling together. The two single beds were neatly made, with pristine white sheets and duvet covers, and a blue decorative runner with the hotel's logo at the foot of each bed – a thoughtful touch. The mattress was moderately firm, allowing me, someone accustomed to late-night study sessions, to quickly fall into a deep sleep. The room also had excellent natural light, with a large window fitted with double curtains (a sheer curtain and a blackout curtain). During the day, with the sheer curtain drawn, sunlight streamed in, bright yet soft. At night, the blackout curtain ensured no light from outside disturbed my sleep, providing a truly restful night. The desk and chair were thoughtfully placed; the desk was spacious, and there were plenty of power outlets (I specifically counted 4 outlets by the bed and desk), allowing me to charge my phone, laptop, and tablet simultaneously without fighting for outlets late at night! This design is incredibly student-friendly for those who need to study online or do homework. As a student, personal hygiene and safety are paramount when traveling alone. The hotel's bathroom put my mind completely at ease: a dry-wet separation design, a clean and odor-free toilet, and even disposable toilet seat covers (though I didn't use them, it showed the hotel's thoughtfulness). The vanity counter was spotless, and the towels and bath towels were neatly folded and hung on the rack, looking very clean. Toiletries were comprehensive; toothbrushes, combs, shower gel, and shampoo were all individually packaged, making them very reassuring to use. The trash cans and floor in the room were also very clean, with no leftover trash or dust, indicating the hotel's significant effort in maintaining cleanliness. Hotel staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. During check-in, the front desk attendant not only patiently answered my questions about subway lines but also proactively pointed out nearby food streets. Since I had a suitcase, she even kindly helped us press the elevator button – these small gestures of care were truly heartwarming. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, keeping the room quiet and comfortable at 26 degrees Celsius at night, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The soundproofing was also quite good; despite being on a busy street, once the windows were closed, I could barely hear any outside noise, guaranteeing sufficient sleep. As a student, budget is naturally a key consideration. This hotel offers very affordable prices and exceptional value for money. Compared to other hotels in the same area, Super 8 Select provides a comfortable stay at a more economical price, while still offering such excellent service and facilities – truly great value! Especially for students needing short-term accommodation for internships, exams, or travel, this is definitely the top choice. My stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Beijing South Railway Station Jiaomen West Subway Station truly made me understand the meaning behind 'Select' – it's not about luxury, but about an ultimate pursuit of detail and precise understanding of guest needs. For students, this isn't just a place to sleep; it's a comfortable, safe, and convenient 'temporary home.' If you're looking for a conveniently located, clean, comfortable, and affordable hotel, I highly recommend this Super 8 Select. I believe you'll have as pleasant a stay as I did!

The location is excellent, situated between the 3rd and 4th Ring Roads, and quite close to Beijing South Railway Station. However, the rooms are tiny, like pigeon coops. For over 300 yuan, you still get a small room with no windows, and there's a strange smell, which might be related to the lack of windows. The bathroom, in particular, is a nightmare. There were urine stains all over the outside of the toilet. The hygiene is seriously questionable.

It's literally right outside the subway exit, just one stop away from Caoqiao Station on the Daxing Airport Express Line, and only a few stops from Beijing South Railway Station. This is a huge plus for tourists unfamiliar with Beijing's public transport system. - The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out procedures are quick and efficient, and they are enthusiastic about offering travel advice, recommending local restaurants, and suggesting attractions. - The hotel offers 24-hour luggage storage, which is a thoughtful service for guests arriving early or departing late, allowing them to explore the area without being weighed down by their bags. - The guest rooms are clean and tidy, with spotless white bedding and no unpleasant odors, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. - Some rooms are equipped with zero-pressure mattresses that are soft and comfortable, effectively relieving fatigue and ensuring a restful night's sleep. - The rooms are well-appointed with amenities such as a smart TV with internet access, an electric kettle, a separate shower, a smart toilet, a smart mirror, and a fresh air system that continuously circulates fresh air throughout the day. - The hotel is situated in the Times Sail Building in the Majiapu business district, right next to Meilianmei Supermarket, making shopping extremely convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and welcoming. Since we arrived early, the front desk arranged for the room to be cleaned ahead of schedule, allowing us to check in an hour early. This was very thoughtful service! The hotel is about 500 meters from the west gate of Wansui Mountain, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The price is also very reasonable for this environment.
