The room was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was super cold. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The water dispensers in the hallway, offering both hot and cold water, all worked perfectly – a big plus! We stayed for several days and honestly didn't want to switch hotels, worried we might end up somewhere bad.
As for the downsides, the soundproofing isn't the best. You can clearly hear the mosque's broadcasts starting early in the morning. However, this is quite typical in Indonesia, and personally, I'm fine with it. But if you're someone who gets bothered by early morning disturbances, then it might be an issue.
Also, in some rooms, the shower door doesn't close completely, so water can spray out. These are minor drawbacks though, and for this price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's much better than many hotels I've stayed in Taiwan!
