OPARTMENT The Far Eastern Hotel

Our butler Ailah was fantastic! She knew we were celebrating our anniversary and kindly upgraded us to a room with a terrace, even decorating it a bit. She also arranged for an early check-in before 1 PM. For food deliveries, they brought it right to our door. Plus, we received two complimentary vouchers for the bar on the 6th floor. The service was excellent, and I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

This hotel offers truly excellent service and quality! I rarely write hotel reviews, but this time I really have to give them a shout-out! I arrived quite early on the day of check-in, and since my booked one-bedroom suite wasn't available, the staff kindly upgraded me to a terrace suite for free. That was so sweet! The hotel perfectly embodies an elegant, old-school French charm – the room colors and textures all feel very luxurious. And the best part is! When you order takeout, staff will deliver it directly to your door, and super fast too! It's difficult to park right in front of the hotel, so you have to go across the street to get picked up. I want to especially thank Liu Xiangwen, a staff member, for helping me carry my luggage all the way. He was incredibly thoughtful!

The room decor is simple and elegant. It comes with a washer-dryer combo and oven/cooktop, which is super convenient for laundry and food prep. The little key attached to the room card is a unique keepsake! The bedding and pillows are really comfy; the duvet was a bit thin, but there were extra blankets in the bedroom closet to add. The rooftop bar was packed at night, so no seats, but it's great that you can get cocktails to go and enjoy them in your room. The soundproofing between rooms on the same floor wasn't amazing, but surprisingly, you couldn't hear the bar upstairs. The staff were friendly and responsive, even offering to help with food deliveries. Plus, it's right next door to Crave Bakery – definitely recommend their cinnamon rolls!

I barely slept a wink all night, constantly bitten by mosquitoes. I was completely drained.

FAR EAST HOTEL APARTMENT. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk from Exit 1 of Renmin Square Metro Station. The decor is simple and stylish, making for a very comfortable stay. My booking also included a drink voucher for the sixth-floor bar and a cultural T-shirt. The one-bedroom apartment with a living room and balcony came with a small kitchen and mini-bar, and they thoughtfully even provided lychees. The front desk service was polite and attentive. The only minor issue was that the washing machine was a bit too powerful and washed off the logo on my clothes. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back!

Old-school charm with a touch of modern sophistication~ Very 'old money' aesthetic.

Great location and pet-friendly! I loved the French-style decor, and the small balcony was beautiful and relaxing. It even had a kitchenette. The only downside was that it's close to the road, so the soundproofing isn't the best.

This is a very high-end and professional hotel with incredibly warm service. They knew we were on a road trip, so they reserved a parking spot for us and even upgraded our room. The moment you step in, there's a lovely aroma, and the whole place is a perfect blend of history and modernity, very stylishly designed. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
