The overall stay was okay, but there were several things worth noting.
At the time of our stay, only one elevator was working, so we chose to take the stairs most of the time, which was manageable. However, much of the building had a strong smell of ****, especially in the hallways and main areas. Our room only had a faint smell, but it was much more noticeable throughout the rest of the hotel.
Unfortunately, we did not get much sleep, even though the beds themselves were comfortable. A little after midnight, there were adults arguing somewhere down the hall, and it was loud enough to hear clearly from our room. Later, around 3:00 a.m., teenagers were running up and down the hallway screaming. After being woken up multiple times between 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m., I eventually went into the hallway and told them to return to their room.
There was also someone above us stomping loudly throughout the evening. On its own, that may not have been a major issue, but combined with everything else, it added to the frustration.
The juice machine and water fountain were also broken during our stay. However, the front desk did provide complimentary bottled water, which we were very grateful for. The staff we interacted with were friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately, the posted noise ordinance on each floor did not seem to be enforced.
Breakfast was decent enough for our needs, and the staff were kind, but the overall experience was affected by the noise, smell, and lack of enforc
