A hidden gem of a private hot spring B&B I stumbled upon while self-driving in Yunnan. It's far from the crowded ancient towns, surrounded by mountains and fresh air. The independent open-air private hot spring offers an absolutely stunning view; you can gaze at the mountains while soaking, sunbathe during the day, and stargaze at night. The ambiance is truly unique. The hot spring pools are thoroughly cleaned after each guest, the room facilities are complete, the bedding is dry and comfortable, and the butlers are very enthusiastic. Overall, the experience is perfect, highly recommended for a relaxing self-drive getaway.

The B&B was very quiet and comfortable. My room faced a cornfield, which was very calming. Even though it rained yesterday, it didn't affect my mood at all. Sitting by the room door, watching the rain and the cats fighting, was very relaxing. The butler was very thoughtful and kind, a truly warm and good-hearted person. They even prepared a hot spring bath and breakfast. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very easy to find, with an elegant and tranquil environment. Enjoying the scenic views while soaking in the bath is perfect for a solo getaway to unwind and savor your time. The breakfast was also quite delicious. The staff were very responsive and enthusiastic.

Exceeded expectations! The service was exceptional. They were waiting for us at the ancient city gate even before we arrived, and helped us with our luggage. The decor is very new, and the toiletries provided are of high quality. It's also super convenient, just a two-minute walk to the main street. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang.

We stayed in a small villa with its own private hot spring. Every day, the butler would ask if we needed anything for our soak, and they'd even refresh the rose petals and snacks – different ones each day, which I loved. The location was perfect, really convenient for taxis, so we didn't have to drag our luggage far. It's close to the ancient town but far enough away that the street noise doesn't bother you. The guesthouse has its own lovely little courtyard, and there are four adorable cats! Cat lovers will be thrilled; they're all very well-behaved. Staying here was so therapeutic and relaxing. I'd definitely recommend it for your travels. The only minor downsides were that, as an old-style courtyard, the sliding room door was a bit old and hard to lock, and there were occasional small insects inside. However, the butler was always extremely helpful in dealing with these issues.

The courtyard itself is serene and elegant, a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The butler was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, arranging everything from pick-up and drop-off at the parking lot to breakfast in the morning and evening hot springs. The service was meticulous, making for a truly relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Highly recommended!

The B&B's environment exceeded my expectations! It's super beautiful and perfect for photos. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and stylish, showing the owner's great taste with thoughtful details everywhere. The location is also very convenient for getting around, and they kindly offered suggestions for local attractions and food. I especially want to commend the staff. They met us at the entrance and guided us to the free parking lot outside the old town. It was raining that day, and the roads inside the ancient city are very narrow and difficult to navigate. The staff member continuously helped us communicate with the car in front and move electric scooters out of the way. If you're not a confident driver, I'd recommend parking outside; it's still very close to the B&B. Every evening, they kindly helped prepare the bath for me, which was truly relaxing and ensured a great night's sleep. The toiletries were LELABO, which shows the owner's generosity – they smell amazing and perfectly complement the room; I've already taken photos to find them myself! They also offer breakfast and afternoon tea during the day, both of which were delicious. On the day we checked out, we woke up very early to see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun.' The staff extended our room until 2 PM, which was perfect for catching up on sleep. Overall, the service was very warm and friendly without being overbearing. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and recommend it to friends! (I love the B&B's little cat employee; you can pet it freely without it getting annoyed, and it even rolls over for belly rubs!)

For our fifth wedding anniversary, my husband and I carefully chose to stay at Bisan. I absolutely love this guesthouse's fantastic location – it's quiet yet right in the heart of things! It's just a one-minute walk to the commercial street! The owner told us the building is a century-old house that he personally renovated and designed. The Song-style aesthetics perfectly match my taste! The housekeeper was on vacation the day we checked in, so the owner personally picked us up and helped us carry our luggage to the guesthouse, which was just a 3-minute walk for my husband and me. We upgraded our room to the 'Starlight. Immersive Snow Mountain Private Hot Spring Suite. Overlooking the Snow-capped Golden Mountain' because the 'Yezhi' room we originally booked felt a bit small, even though it had everything. The upgraded room was a fantastic experience! It was spacious and comfortable! Let me tell you about our experience: We were offered delicious tea during check-in. We could see the snow mountain right outside our room window! We specifically chose a guesthouse with a humidifier, which was a lifesaver, as Lijiang is so dry! First, the room amenities: a humidifier, water heater, large projector, sleep eye mask and essential oil spray, earplugs (so thoughtful!), and a tatami area for tea and hot spring soaks. There's a small courtyard outside the room (like a balcony) with flowers and plants. You can sit there to sunbathe and drink tea, and every photo you take turns out beautifully – it's indescribably gorgeous! Due to time constraints during our stay, I only had one hot spring soak. Before soaking, the housekeeper helped sanitize the tub and prepared bath salts and rose petals, arranging them beautifully with afternoon tea – it was incredibly photogenic! Romantic and luxurious, soaking in the tub, listening to my favorite music, I felt like a queen. Life is truly wonderful! The housekeeper even washed, dried, and neatly folded our clothes for us, which warmed our hearts. The toiletries all smell amazing – they're from the high-end brand Le Labo, showing the owner's attention to detail. The complimentary cocktails were enjoyed at 'Bisan Tea Affair,' where we sipped drinks on the rooftop while enjoying views of the snow mountain. It was incredibly photogenic, and both cocktail flavors were delicious! My husband and I also tried making 'bean pod dolls,' which was easy and fun! The breakfast was freshly made and tasted great, with a wonderful sense of ceremony! My husband and I stayed for three nights and didn't want to leave! I wish the owner a prosperous business and hope to return with my husband for our tenth anniversary!

The environment is beautiful and has a great ambiance. The service is also exceptionally good! From the room window, you can see the peaks, and the guesthouse is located right in the center of the ancient town. Just a short walk out of the alley leads directly to the main ancient town streets. The butler, a young man, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Although we couldn't see the 'golden mountain in the sunrise' that day, he still took us to a popular photo spot around 6 AM! 🥰
