Pomme Hostel Restaurant & Bar - Private Sleeping Cabins

Half day tour today which we booked through Pomme in Battambang. Our tuk tuk driver and guide Tony was a delight. We started the tour with a drive out into the country for lunch to a local restaurant for rice pancakes, which were delicious. The itinerary was similar to other tours but the commentary and insights made the tour quite special.

I had a wonderful experience at Pomme in Battambang! The staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The service is prompt and courteous, and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent food paired with outstanding hospitality!

We didn't stay here, but we stopped for a drink. A great atmosphere, fantastic service and very cost effective drinks. It was so good we came back the next day. This time we met the owner Johnny who was awesome to chat with and great with his staff. I was also pleased to find out they had a similar establishment in Siem Reap, so we now know where to go for a drink tomorrow night!

My wife and I visited here in July 2022. We had been before and were expecting a warm welcome. We were not disappointed! Speaking to the owner, we were told that they had survived Covid and were just beginning to open up the hostel for backpackers after a 2 year absence. We spent 2 very pleasant evenings in the bar. The food was very good and the atmosphere very friendly. On the second night there was a live band playing, The Kampot Playboys and there is, apparently, quite often live music at a weekend. Can't review the hostel rooms, though I understand that there is now aircon installed.
