We had a wonderful stay at Badenhotel Salina, and a big part of that was thanks to Josephine at reception. She is an absolute superstar—professional, courteous, and speaks fluent English. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome. We were initially assigned two apartments where the toilets were on the ground floor while the bedrooms were upstairs. This layout was completely impractical for our elderly parents. Josephine immediately understood our concern and very kindly upgraded one of our apartments to a more expensive ground-floor unit at no extra charge. The new apartment had both the bedrooms and bathroom on the same level, making our stay much more comfortable. We truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and excellent customer service. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and very well designed. The beds were comfortable, there were lovely balconies, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a stylish bathroom with a powerful shower. The breakfast offered a good variety, including different breads, fresh fruits, scrambled and boiled eggs, cheeses, yoghurts, juices, teas, and coffees. The only downside was that items were not replenished consistently, so guests arriving later found that several options had already run out. Improving this would make the breakfast experience even better. The location is excellent, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic setting. Finally, the hotel offers exceptional value for money. Compared to the often exorbitant prices charged by many other hotels in Switzerland, Badenhotel Salina is very reasonably priced without compromising on comfort or quality. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Special thanks once again to Josephine for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
