Motel 6 Groton, CT

It is quite there but some of the rooms don't have a microwave,but I would recommend it

I'm sorry to say this hotel is aweful. The attendant was great so that was a silver lining. She tried to find a room that didn't smell so strongly of smoke. The room initially looked clean but we found hair balls and other "stuff" on the floor. The blanket had cigarette burn holes, see picture. When you walk barefoot you had to clean your feet, it needed to be mopped. There's also people living in rooms for extended periods, plants, bbq grill etc. They're trying to do some things around the hotel, Like paint the railings, but they need to spend tons of money to get it to where it should be. I take no pleasure in posting this But people need to know.

No hair dryer. 99% of the receptacles need to be replace as they are vary loose. Lost power to refrigerator numerous times. No hangers in the room. Will not book there again.

The beds were great. The tub had not been cleaned (so we opted to shower when we got home). The people next door had a dog or two (hard to tell) that barked and whined often. We did not get much sleep. Someone in a different room pounded on the walls (meaning "shut your dogs up.") If it was a longer stay we would have requested a different room. When checking out no one was at the desk. There was a sign "be right back" so we left the key in the key box and chose not to wait. We will not be staying there again.

Shower curtían was moldy, the room had a door to another room and I was alone. The door to the room was hard to open and close and made a loud sound. At least front desk staff was so friendly

Just a stop over for us. I do not recommend this place unless you can't find anywhere else....or can't afford more. It was ok but the property shows it age, clientele is a bit "off".!!

The check in was easy and the staff was nice. The room and bathroom looked clean but smelt like cigarettes. The bed was uncomfortable. Lots of dogs barking from other rooms.

Smell in room 200, satisfactory cleanliness, comfortable bed, some difficulty with using tv (possible user error)...Overall it was only a one night stay.
