Gwanganli Hotel 1

The price of this hotel was quite expensive for a capsule hotel. I later found out it was a weekend, and there are drone shows on the beach every Saturday, along with a vendor market. It's really lively both day and night on Saturdays and Sundays! The hotel is right across the street from the beach, so you can enjoy the incredibly beautiful Gwangandaegyo Bridge and the entire semi-circular beach directly from the hotel window! There are tons of all sorts of restaurants and ocean-view cafes nearby, but I prefer to sit by the beach and watch the sea – it feels incredibly therapeutic!

The room view was amazing, and the stay was very comfortable. There are convenience stores, restaurants, and drink shops nearby, and Gwangalli Beach is right across the street, which is very convenient. I loved it.

I'm planning to revisit! The view was insane, and there's a spacious parking lot. Among all the guesthouses I've stayed at, this is the first time I've seen such a large makeup room and a spacious area for washing hands and face. They provide all shower amenities except for toothpaste and toothbrushes. It was really great!

The view is amazing and the bed is really comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, though it's a bit of a walk to the subway station (about ten to fifteen minutes). My only suggestion is that it would be great if the hotel could provide a designated area for eating takeout. It's a bit inconvenient that you can't eat in your room, and the ground floor only allows you to sit and order from the cafe, especially since many guests, like myself, are traveling solo.

The room was a bit small, but the view was truly amazing and very therapeutic. However, the room entrance was a curtain, not a real door. Luckily, the entire floor was for women, so overall it was okay.

We stayed for two nights, spending one night in an ocean-view room and the other in this romantic mountain-view room. Both were romantic-style rooms, so the layouts were identical. Although the mountain-view room faces away from the ocean, perhaps because we stayed on a Saturday night, there was quite a bit of noise from the shops behind the property that lasted all night, which could be heard with the window open. However, once the window was closed, it was quiet enough for anyone who isn't extremely a light sleeper to get a good night's rest. It was also a huge plus that we could watch the Saturday night drone show from the 1st and 2nd-floor café areas or the rooftop. The staff were very friendly, and having multiple team members who could speak Japanese was a great help.

Great for a solo traveler. The shared bathrooms were very clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent and welcoming. The view outside the window was absolutely stunning; it was lovely just to lean on the windowsill and relax.
