There was a used bandage on the floor of our room. There was a sign saying there was complimentary water in the fridge but there wasn’t any water in the fridge. The area is pretty sketchy at night, I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking by myself. No bar or restaurant in the hotel.

Our only complaint was the service at Dennys. The hotels breakfast is a partnership with the restaurants. The hotel was great.

Everything was fine with our stay at this facility for three nights, with the exception of the air-conditioning unit. Operation of the unit was very complicated. It had a timer function on it, and it was impossible to figure out how that was affecting the operation of the air conditioner and it kept on going off after about 20 minutes throughout the night we had to get up and try to figure out how to turn it back on each time. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the unit. It just had this timer function on it that seemed to turn it off no matter what we did. Otherwise, I would’ve given this five stars.

We stay here once a year and never have been disappointed. Staff is always friendly and you get a yummy cookie at check in. Rooms are nice and clean. Bed is comfortable.

Good idea to contract with a neighboring restaurant for breakfast... but that restaurant in this case was not good... the food was fine once it arrived, but it took a very long time. Because of that we only used it the first of our three mornings.

Misty was so very helpful! I had a change of room request and she handled it perfectly,Everything was clean and so nice, My granddaughter had a blast in the pool,We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning as well. We will definitely stop in whenever we stay in Salem!

The property and staff were great, even let us use the hot tub after hours. Just one main issue: Contracting with a restaurant for breakfast is a great idea, but unfortunately this particular restaurant did not have good or timely service at all. My brother didn't get his food and finally had to leave and go to McD's, and we waited forever for ours. We ended up not using the service after the first morning just cuz it took so long. Would be much better if the service was greatly improved.
