HUALUXE Shanghai Changfeng Park by IHG

The hotel staff were amazing! The lady at check-in was so welcoming and not only helped us pick our ideal room but also gave us recommendations for nearby places to eat. It felt really safe and cozy staying here during the Shanghai typhoon. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the service was so warm; it truly felt like home. They even have a robot deliver takeaways, and the coffee at the lobby bar is delicious. We had such a pleasant stay! 😊

Great location! It's very close to Hongqiao Airport, and Changfeng Joy City is just down the road. The subway station is right next door. The service was warm, professional, and on point. Every staff member at the front desk was very professional. Breakfast was excellent! The chef making noodles and wontons was particularly dedicated, truly showing that talent can be found in every profession. Special mention: The TV system is fantastic! There are tons of movies, not like those domestic entertainment systems filled with ads. On Saturday night, after a relaxing bath at the hotel, I rewatched The Godfather Part III.

The room design beautifully blends traditional Chinese charm with modern comfort, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for tourists, with direct access via Metro Line 15. Plus, Joy City mall is right across the street, making dining and shopping super easy.

I arrived quite late on the day of check-in, and as soon as I entered the room, the hotel staff had already placed the buckwheat pillow and single duvet I requested in the room. It felt just like home, very comfortable and relaxing. I can truly say my stay at the HUALUXE Shanghai Changfeng Park was fantastic. Also, regarding the hotel's location, it's right opposite Changfeng Park, with Metro Line 15 just outside, and next to Changfeng Joy City, making the location extremely convenient. The butler contacted me in advance to confirm my needs and helped arrange a high-floor lake view room. The view was expansive, and the room was spacious and clean, equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, smart toilet, and a complete tea set. The service was thoughtful but not overbearing. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it!

Every stay here is a delightful surprise! The front desk staff are professional and incredibly hospitable. The room is clean and comfortable with an expansive view, and I especially appreciate the Chinese tea set since I'm a tea enthusiast. The lobby bar is perfect for meeting guests, and there's a particularly welcoming woman working there. Breakfast is abundant! My favorite part is the incredibly sweet and delicious cantaloupe among the fruits. This stay was truly wonderful!

Got an upgrade to a suite, which was a nice surprise. The room itself was pretty standard but comfortable, and it was nice and quiet being a bit further from the elevator. Breakfast was good, and the staff were all very friendly. Check-out was super quick too. My only minor complaint would be that some of the power outlets were a bit loose.

Every time I visit Shanghai, I choose this hotel, and I'm always incredibly satisfied! Both the facilities and the service are top-notch. The room decor is very stylish, the toiletries are high quality, and the layout is well-designed. The soundproofing is also excellent, so it's quiet at night, and during the day, it's super convenient to eat and shop at the mall next door. The staff are professional and friendly, making my stay here truly enjoyable!

This Hualuxe hotel, part of the InterContinental brand, consistently delivers on service quality. The bedding is comfortable, there's free parking, and it's quiet and clean. The Ju Ming Yi lobby bar has a very distinctive and strong Chinese-style decor. The room also offers a pillow menu with many choices, making for a great experience.

Located next to Putuo Changfeng Joy City, it's very close to the city center. This time, we stayed in a family room, and when we opened the curtains, we had a direct view of Changfeng Park. My child absolutely loved the Octonauts theme in the room. What I liked most was the decor of the lobby bar – it felt so cozy to feel the breeze passing through or enjoy a quiet drink on a rainy night.
