The staff were friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a room upgrade, which was a delightful surprise 👍. The upgraded room was spacious and clean, featuring an elegant and comfortable New Chinese style. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. Cynthia, Sarah, and Baizhi were courteous and polite, making communication a breeze. The hotel is conveniently located and has great facilities!

The room is spacious and the bedding is very comfortable. Sitting by the window to enjoy some tea while taking in the beautiful view of Changfeng Park is just wonderful. The Dyson hairdryer in the deluxe room is definitely a major plus for guests with long hair! All the staff members wore comforting smiles, and the hotel completely fulfilled the special requests I left in my booking notes regarding the room arrangement. A truly pleasant stay experience!

Having stayed at HUALUXE before and having had a great experience, I decided to book a weekend getaway here to relax 😌. I heard that Changfeng Park across the street had been renovated and reopened during the mini-holiday. It was lovely to check it out and stroll through the park on a sunny weekend, enjoying a comfortable and cozy stay. The guest rooms at HUALUXE Changfeng are quite spacious with various layouts. The front desk staff 💁🏻♀️ were very thoughtful and even upgraded me to a room with a bathtub 🛁. A relaxing soak in the evening washed away the day's fatigue and greatly improved my sleep quality. If you don't want to go out for dinner, the first-floor restaurant offers a buffet with a rich variety of Chinese and Western fusion options. The breakfast was also fantastic, and the overall service was as consistently excellent as ever. I will definitely stay here again 😄.

The location is fantastic, right at the Exit of Line 15, Changfeng Park. It's just about a 100-meter walk from the subway station to the hotel~ The overall interior design feels very private, making it ideal for business trips. I booked an Executive Twin Room this time, which offers a view of Changfeng Park right across the street. The floor was quite high up, so the view was really nice~ The dinner at the executive lounge is decent, though it would be even better if they served hot noodles or wontons~ I also checked out the swimming pool; the facilities are well-maintained and it's great for a workout~ Cynthia provided wonderful service. You can approach her with any request, and she responds promptly. Fantastic~ I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next business trip!

Narrowed it down to three choices for the final decision (Grand Central Hotel Shanghai, Renaissance Shanghai Putuo Hotel, Hyatt Centric), and after reading tons of reviews, I finally picked this one. I was very satisfied with my stay~ First of all, the location was just right for us, balancing easy access to the airport, the racetrack, West Nanjing Road, and Pudong. I think the location is simply unbeatable—right in the sweet spot, and taking the metro is super convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk from the station exit to the hotel, and almost everywhere we wanted to go took about 30 to 40 minutes. It was just so convenient! Ambience & Facilities: Although it has been open for a few years, the hotel is still very clean. The interior has a great design sense with its own unique style. Soundproofing and other aspects were all good, there was no weird smell in the room, and the room itself was very clean. The bed was huge, very soft, and super comfortable to sleep in. You can also make tea in the room (complete with a dedicated tea set and small tea bags—the sleep-aid one was actually really nice), the coffee provided is Tomoro Coffee drip bags, and the minibar includes Sprite, Coke, Jiaduobao, and beer (included with our group deal, otherwise charged). This time, the front desk guy kindly arranged a room with a park view. The scenery was exceptionally lovely, putting me in a great mood every single morning! Breakfast: I’d say the breakfast meets five-star standards—very rich, covering both Chinese and Western options. Standouts for the Chinese dishes included freshly made Jianbing Guozi (savory Chinese crêpe) and Shanghai-style wontons/noodles in soup. Their fried rice was also delicious, though unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Pan-fried pork buns~ There was also congee, handmade tofu pudding, various hot dishes, and Shanghai dim sum. The cold station had seaweed, cheese, salami, salads, and more, plus quite a wide variety of breads and cakes. Honestly, when I went down on the first day, I was spoiled for choice, haha! So I spread out trying everything across two days. The service was also quite attentive; we were escorted to a table (though since it wasn't too crowded, you could also find your own seat as it wasn't strictly assigned). Once seated, we were asked if we wanted coffee or tea, and when our table accumulated too many plates after eating, staff promptly came by to clear them. It was very proactive service. Front Desk & Housekeeping: The young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic and polite throughout the service—you could tell he’d been well-trained. After getting our room cards, we took our luggage up ourselves. You can take your complimentary drink voucher down to the bar on the right-hand side of the entrance to redeem it and enjoy the cozy environment (the design there is really nice). Housekeeping was also spot-on; the staff who came by were always smiling, and whenever we asked for extra supplies, they were more than happy to help. They were exceptionally kind. All in all, after a two-night stay, I'm very satisfied. Our trip focused on accommodation (cleanliness and comfort), good food, and convenient transportation, and all these aspects completely exceeded our expectations. For short-term leisure or business travelers, I think the value for money is fantastic. Thumbs up! I would definitely stay here again~

Overall, a fantastic experience! The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, and the location is excellent. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and provide great service. The room offers great value for money, receiving packages is very hassle-free, and food deliveries are brought up by a robot. Housekeeping is prompt; when I requested a different pillow at night, they responded and delivered it very quickly. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Shanghai. It's a great choice for business travelers. The only downside was the door concierge team, who weren't very welcoming. Several times when I got out of a car, they failed to come over and open the door or greet me. Also, the main entrance doors were not very responsive, and the concierge staff just stood by playing on their phones instead of offering help. However, these minor flaws didn't overshadow the overall positive experience—still a wonderful stay!

The room offered a beautiful view, directly overlooking Shanghai's 'three-piece suit' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). The room was clean and tidy, and the service staff were warm and attentive. The Cai Feng Lou Chinese Restaurant within the hotel served delicious cuisine with tasty dishes. Thanks to the customer service for their warm reception and for arranging the room in advance, making guests feel right at home. This five-star luxury hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, the environment is beautiful, and it's convenient to the subway. The front desk lady even arranged welcome fruit for us. Staying here felt very reassuring and safe. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai. There are also plenty of places to explore nearby.

This is my second stay here, and the hotel facilities are still well-maintained. The service is excellent, and it's very convenient with Joy City nearby for dining. There's also a subway station right outside the hotel. The surrounding area is relatively quiet, making it perfect for those who aren't first-time visitors to Shanghai or who prefer not to stay right by the attractions or the Bund. Of course, getting to the main sights isn't difficult either; most can be reached within an hour by subway or about half an hour by taxi.
