Homewood Suites by Hilton Portsmouth Downtown

We had a wonderful visit everyone was so nice they had 3 parking options the room was beautiful and so clean ! Super comfortable bed also! Breakfast was also super nice got to try new things! So close to everything downtown we walked everywhere

Very nice property that is working out a few kinks. It's a fairly new hotel. TV's don't work very well but breakfast was above average for a hotel

My only surprise was that parking was not included, it was an additional $45 which I thought was high for the price I paid for the room. The only other complaint is the room was much more than I needed, included a full kitchen and all I needed was a room with a bed.

We stayed one night to enjoy a weekend away in Portsmouth and thought the property was beautiful. Bed was comfortable, room very clean and updated. Staff was lovely and knowledgeable. Downsides were that there is no free parking (valet for $40 a night or a parking garage around the corner for $1/hour with a max of $20 a day) and the breakfast didn’t do it for us. However, would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is new and clean. However the comfort of the bed and pillows was horrible. I also felt the breakfast was sub par.

It was great! Breakfast was good! Pillows were not the best, but would stay again. The locations was great too!

New hotel- rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Valet is available but there is a city garage behind for self parking.

Room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly! They also offer a great selection for breakfast.

When we arrived there was a very long line at check in. After about 30mins to check in we got to the front and were told we couldnt stay here! (Why the line was so long we werent the only ones)They sent us to a different hotel miles away. This hotel was not near where we wanted to be, as well as not the same quality of the hotel we originally booked! Ive attempted to contact management who is clearly avoiding me. Multiple phone calls and voicemails. Im asking for an explanation and some kind of compensation for being inconvenienced like this!
