Bedford Plaza Hotel - Boston

The parking lot is quite convenient, and the service attitude is pretty good. However, the facilities are old and very outdated. There isn't much to recommend it beyond saving money. I wouldn't strongly suggest staying here. On the upside, there's a very convenient large supermarket right next door.

If you are looking for a hotel on the outskirts because accommodation in downtown Boston is too expensive, this is the most advantageous option in terms of location (provided you have a rental car). The facilities are outdated, and the smell in the room was particularly unpleasant (there is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so you have to open the window to ventilate). There is an underground parking lot, which is convenient even when it rains. The cleanliness of the bedding is decent considering the facilities. The breakfast is of homeless-food quality, so since there is a McDonald's right next to the hotel and two gas stations, it is better to eat there instead (absolutely not recommended). There is a fairly large Stop & Shop grocery store a 1-minute drive or 5-minute walk away, so it is fine to buy groceries there in advance. It is a hotel you choose solely based on price.

The room was dark and cave-like, not to mention the sanitation. The Indian front desk lady spoke English with an unpleasant accent and babble about the requirements. She seemed unfriendly to Chinese people and was really off-putting. Fortunately, I canceled my reservation after two nights!

The hotel room is quite big, but the price is a bit high because we booked late
